Slacker - get on that bike more!

How‘s that new camper working out, Vince?
Duke, I'm absolutely loving it. Setup takes less than a minute and the comfort and security of sleeping in the truck makes a huge difference. Being able to stand up and use the truck bed as a living, dining, and lounge space is the greatest value for me. I keep the interior setup flexible and agile, adapting to each use case. No fancy drawer system, refrigerator, or dinette. Simple and light. The three Ridgid cases are just the right height for me to pull the bed out, storing everything I need for my adventures.

Truck stuff.

First of two runs to the local landfill - their free brush and yard debris drop off area is open 24/7, unattended - super handy on a Sunday.

No, I’m not protecting my drop in liner with that blue tarp. @subquark knows just what that’s about.

My buddy and I hit one of our favorite MTB trails on Tuesday the 8th. It was a challenge I wasn't sure about while still recovering from Guillain-Barre syndrome that I came down with in January. I did better than I expected on the climb and the downhill is always a hoot! In the second photo my buddy was trying to give me "moose ears" but I moved my phone before I realized.

So this is not what I did with my Ranger but what I would like to do. Can anybody tell me if it is possible to swap the front seat cushions? I am getting some wear on the drivers seat and while it is not bad, if I swap now would proably be good for the next 75000 miles.

I don't remember the name but there's an outfit that does seat upholstery and sells new foam as well. Likely more than one. What about local shops??

Our local apholstery show just closed. The owners are in their 80's. I was hoping it would be as simple as a few bolts, unplug some wires and swap cushions. Not wanting to swap the seat frames.

You would have to check with the online places but I think it is just the cushion/seat foam that is swapped out. I haven't looked at it in detail myself but that's what I remember seeing scrolling by.

Drove to someone's yard, where Ranger acted as support vehicle.

While there I cut a semi fallen apple tree to 30cm pieces with Stihl GTA 40. Took about 1,5hrs and several battery changes.

Drove back to home.

Ran an off road trail loop yesterday. Drove about 80-90 miles off-pavement, and another 60 to get there and back. One section had some mud holes with super thick mud. I’ll probably have to clean the undercarriage again this week ?

Had a great time ?
