My point I'm getting too is at the time the sensor is failing because of moisture/water and you replace the hoses and sensor wouldn't it be wise to make sure the egr tube is clean and moisture free. I saw a post a while back where a mechanic started the vehicle without the sensor connected to remove any remaining water. Is that doable????Possibly but a good working egr system will get hot enough to eliminate it. This sensor going bad could cause the system to work less efficiently this leading to more moisture and damage
