Quck Question what is the process everyone has used to remove fluid? Are you Old Shool running a smaller hose down the tube and sucking it to start a siphon? Ahh the good old days. LOL
Yes that's pretty much the way without a filter change. Here's a post from Steve showing how he and others do it.

The pump he uses from Amazon.

You can order from his site here.

:stop:Now as far as ordering 303 products you need to ask yourself.....What's more important?

Having a nice shiny truck that you can see and look at every time you walk by it or a Firz-stick which is buried under the hood and you only occasionally use.

This shouldn't even be a question!?‍♂

J/K Mike I'll most likely be ordering one come spring when they're back in stock and the weather's nicer out.
Nothing like rubbing the stick ?

(rattling cage) @Fitzmotor Since your F-150 test mule isn't available anymore, I just wanted to ask if it would be OK with you if I try to hunt one up for ya ? I'd just make a post on the Gen14F150 forum and then forward their info to ya. Thoughts ?

Hmm, just maybe, the Bronco turned out to even tougher than the Ranger, it's probably not going to make it to production, at least the 2.7L.

Let me catch up a bit from the Bronco adventure, I have been scrambling to get enough parts to build up the current Ranger dipstick stock. I have to go in for hand surgery in 3 weeks, so I'm working to get past that without running out inventory.

There is the issue of the forum sponsor rules, it would not be the same as it was with the Ranger here, when I started here, I was just a newbie member, poking around for info, getting input from the (great) group here, then eventually making a product and becoming a sponsor.

Now as a existing 5G Ranger forum sponsor, it is my responsibility to pay the monthly fee as a sponsor wherever else I go, Bronco, F150 forums and such.
I'm not just a member anymore, I owe it to the forum moderators and the other sponsors, to become a sponsor in any forum I plan on putting my business effort into.

Whether it's me, or somebody else, the poking around other forums at member level to benefit my business is just not right.

So, the short story is, just keep rattling my cage, I very much appreciate the offer!!

I sure hope the F150 is easier than the Bronco!!

Thanks again

Mike

I dunno if that is reasonable. Having a product to sell should be the gating factor for becoming a sponsor.

Research to determine feasibility, and seeking a mule to design and fabricate the product seems well before sponsorship.

I really think the gate should be when you actually have a product in the marketplace.

I know that I would not want to invest in sponsorship prior to having something to offer in the marketplace. it is already very expensive to design and build a new product.

All this said, I have no idea of what the sponsorship rules actually are. But requiring me to become a sponsor just to begin to investigate the possibility of manufacturing and marketing a product would be a show stopper for me.

It is getting the cart before the horse!

Hey, it's okay!

I'm not just lurking around to maybe make something, I'm a business looking to expand my product line, so the forum rules are proper.

Look at it like this, if someone were to show up here, a non sponsor, who was allowed to go fishing around to make a dipstick like mine, without them being a sponsor, then it becomes unfair to me.

So if I go fishing elsewhere as a non sponsor and there was somebody else who was a sponsor, who was trying to make a product, it becomes equally unfair to them.

Hey, I'm good with the way things are!

Ordered one this morning. Impatiently waiting now. Such a pointless item to be excited for, should have came with the truck.

Either way thank you for creating this for us.
Aside from replacing the rear shocks, this was a very satisfying mod to complete.

These swollen winter roads are beating the snot out of my suspension and I’m still on the stock fx4s. I was wanting to hold out til I could buy the front suspension with it, but I’m about to just pull the trigger on some rear eibachs.
