I stand corrected then
I just happened to open the hood and noted , hey it’s Black and thought of this thread as I also thought it was white along with all others - just one of those unimportant things you never pay attention to.

Off roading? Looks like a stick or a rock got thrown up into the engine bay and passed between the fan and radiator. If the fan is tight, it didn't move. It's gotta be something that was loose in the engine bay. Any missing components? Did you maybe leave a wrench or screwdriver under to hood after some work?

I’m thinking what happened is when going through some water the fan sucked itself forward and hit the rad. Dealer won’t cover it, no surprise there.

But that’s fine, a rockauto radiator is 90 monopoly dollars

It could be a broken motor mount, allowing the motor to rotate when the chassis is flexed. An old wheeling buddy had his fan touching his radiator only when flexed on an obstacle. Broken motor mount was the culprit.

Also, if it is a broken motor mount, it should 100% be covered under warranty. Damaged parts due to broken parts is a warranty issue.
