The new rangers have a cover/insulator over the high pressure fuel pump.

Saw this on Facebook where someone noticed the new rangers have a cover on the high pressure fuel pump. lt supposedly fits the 19-23 and drastically reduced the pump noise. It's made of the same material as the engine cover. Might also p
rotect that area from the famous drip onto the engine.

I can't recall ever really hearing the fuel pump on mine while I had it. Only times was if my head was near it.

Otherwise all I heard was the typical turbo charger sewing machine noises from the topside.

Mine is LOUD. I can hear it in the cab over my exhaust on cold days

I was thinking I'd have to order an engine cover for my '23 bronco to fight the noise. After I got it I noticed it was much quieter than the ranger was. I looked an it has this cover on it.

I thought the ranger engine cover really helped with the noise. I swear I heard it inside my condo when I remote started the ranger an didn't after installing it.
