I installed the Valvomax valve, so... I won't make any mess next time.
I installed the Valvomax and no longer need to remove any plates to drain the oil. I put a brass fitting on the end of the drain hose to keep it straight. It drains right into the pan. The only messy part is the filter. I replace it while the oil is draining. By the time I get the filter exchanged. It is time to button up the Valvomax.

I need one... I can only get the front wheel an inch of the ground.
Depending on which traction boards you have, you might already have one…

I have two floor jacks. I am going to get a 4x4 block and drill a hole through it to secure it to the base with a bolt.

Do you have a hi lift jack?

THere is a base, for the high lift jacks, kinda resembles what @DukeCanBuildit circled. You could use that for a base too for your garage. Toss it in with your high lift when you are out and about.

I will see the next time I have to change the oil if I can leave the skid plate on or not. The ARB offer a lot more coverage, but... that also means everything is harder to access. Even if I have to take the plate off, it will be easier and cleaner.

I do not have a HiLift. I will probably be getting the HF offroad jack in the future but, for now, this will work.

I have the ARB skid plates and the dealership cross threaded one of the bolts that holds the first and second plates together (its held on by a capture nut and it was broken free of the hold). On top of that cross threaded bolt, I am missing four others. The dealer is the only one who has touched the truck, besides me, since the install of the plates. This is why I am doing it on my own now.

Would something like these extensions get you the lift you need?

this would. I’d need to find a link. I’ve done some *brief* googling this morning.
The critical thing is which "adapter" you need (pic below).

I got the short one:
https://www.911motorsports.net/Short-Round-Saddle--Floor-Jack-Extension-_p_1125.html

But they have a taller one too:
https://www.911motorsports.net/4x4-Floor-Jack-Extension_p_77.html

Plus an off-road conversion for various brands. Their website isn't well indexed so it takes some hunting. Like the short one I got wasn't immediately visible though their site navigation. Same with some of their 4x4 conversion kits. The site only links to a few but they have more than they list.

An example of an unlisted kit:
https://www.911motorsports.net/Offroad-Jack-Conversion--3-ton-Arcan-Hybrid--Combo-Kit-_p_101.html

They're also helpful if you need to speak to someone on the phone.

Some of these are on Amazon but I think it was $10 less, at the time, for me to go to 911 Motorsports. Plus most of their stuff is US made. =)
