Discount tire has a scan tool that can force the relearn process. Just ask them to do it. My sensors were reading off and they were able to fix them.
Discount Tires (Americas Tire In So Cal) is one of the best companies that I ever dealt with as far as customer service is concerned..

When I had Discount Tire install the sensors, I just handed them what I received (I hadn't even bothered to see what they were....I know rookie mistake). Was able to contact the seller of the wheels and he sent a picture of what he bought. According to TPMS.com looks like they are for an F150 (9L3Z-1A-189A 315MHz). Wonder if Discount can force the relearn as F150 like @PatrickM had done

Finally got my chase light bar wired up -

Tapped into the rear tail lights for turn signal, signals.

I am a little confused as to why the turn signal on the chase light is the same light as the brake lights, and not the amber/yellow lights that are used for flashing lights (not shown in video). The light bar has 3 power wires and 4 wires for l/r turn, brake and reverse lights. so I do not think I did anything wrong, but I am not going to unwire it and troubleshoot it. lol

I wired the lights into one of the upfit switches under the hood, but mounted the light that came with the bar under the hood - 99% of the time I will only use it as a high mount brake light, so opening the hood to change the flashing pattern isn't a big deal for me (and it prevents me from having to drill or modify my dash)

Behind the tail light I have spade connectors to quick disconnect the bar if needed, and the 3 wire power cable is a deutsch connector under the bed. My long term plan calls for removing the bed rack and replacing it with a popup camper so I wanted to make it fairly straightforward and simple to modify in the future without running new wires.

EDIT: I also just noticed that due to the red vs yellow turn signals that when the brake is applied the turn signals don't illuminate on the chase light bar :-/ hrmmmm

EDIT 2: Nope not me doing anything wrong -

  • 7 different patterns with Red running lights, stop & turn signal lights, White reverse lights, & Amber strobe lights.
That is an interesting choice for turn signals though . . .

Bought these on Amazon a lot cheaper then any other option. Discount Tire verified them before installing 3 years ago. No issues with them since then, have matching spare so bought two sets of four.

MORESENSOR Signature Series... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W9L93VY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I ended up going to TPMS.com and buying a set. Yours are 1/2 of what I paid (always great seeing other members share what has worked for them that is a money saving option...have to save that extra $ for all the other mods people share).

Found a matching wheel. Bought a matching tire from Discount Tire and will do a 5 tire rotation.
Handed Discount Tire the 5 new sensors I received from TPMS.com. They replaced the 4 wrong sensors I had them install last week without any fuss.

What, no asphalt in Texas, Eli?

It’s a good thing you’ve up-skilled yourself on stone chip repair. It’s crazy that you’ve had to but it sure is being put to use. ?

Be happy that it's just a chip. My sister has had to replace the entire windshield on her 2017 like 4-5 times, and once again, it's got a long-ass crack working its way across. My entire family, combined (including sis minus this car), hasn't had to replace windshields as often as she's had to on this one. It doesn't seem to be a model defect either, just something with her particular car or she's been cursed (no, she doesn't remember breaking a mirror before getting it, either; I asked....)
