2019 ford ranger lariat. When I shut off the truck I get a clicking noise under the dash board and the AC isn't getting as cold as it should. This video is what it sounds like. They said actuator motor, is this correct?

It sounds like the dreaded blend door/actuator issue many have had. It was common on many 2019's through mid 2020 Rangers and my 2019 fell victim to it. It starts with the clicking which is the actuator which will eventually break and be stuck in the heat position. There's several threads on this already and this one is the main one if you care to read through it. There's a DYI fix on post #25 which I did. At the time I was living in AZ and only needed to switch it twice a year.

NORMALLY - The Temp actuators stay in the position they were in when the truck is shut off and do not move.

The only actuators that are commanded (powered) to move is the (Mode Door-Air Distribution) and the Air Inlet (Recirculation)
Air Inlet Door moves to 48% (Partially Open) position
Mode Door moves to 25% (Panel/Floor) position

Ref: this detailed thread on operation to possibly pinpoint which door actuator is trying to drive.

That's the blend door getting stuck, making that noise.

That's the blend door getting stuck, the gears in the actuator motor needs some greasing. Thats how I fix mine on 2019 Lariat.
