For me it was the missing link to activate the AT&T hotspot in the truck. I'm now not seeing the option to revert again. At least we can still use the owner website to manual add service records.

yes ive gone through the settings and tried to update the app and restart. let the dealer service manager mess with it for a while an no luck. its ok i dont need it now lol

how do you do that? didn"t know you could do that on the old app

I input all of my services into the App when I had my 5G. I no longer have the truck and wonder if it even matters. I doubt it'll be there for the new owner. I printed out a list and left if in the owner's manual in the glove box. If it's gone in the App now, I won't bother trying to find it for my 6G.

What confuses me is the actual features that are just gone. 6G Rangers have Zone lighting that is advertised as being controllable by FordPass. It's in the manual for the truck, but that functionality is nowhere to be found in the app. It was way handier with your phone then getting in the truck to find then menu in the infotainment screen. On my XLT, I could turnoff the headlights and the bed lights/tailgate light. Not anymore. They've killed an advertised feature.

It was on the old version under service , now you have to log in to Ford and add it there, better than nothing I guess ...
But you can't attach receipts anymore - it is better than nothing, but it was better when it was in the app for sure.

I thought I saw that you could , if you can't then it's poop ...
I was able to add the service thru the website but it had no option for receipts that I could see.

I have been keeping a spreadsheet of everying I do to my vehicles for years. When I sold my previous 2 vehicles, I sent the buyers a copy, along with any physical receipts I had.

What I miss is the fuel gauge and range. Just shows range now.
but what does the gauge give you the range doesn't?
