so i had a detail shop give the 5g a good work over... she is spotless now! heres a couple before and after. She had dirt and mud every where after after a wash. in all the door handles, caked inside the fan shroud you name it.

I daydream, daily, about dump runs. But sometimes, nature intervenes and sends you a sign that you need to do one.

This sign literally came out of the sky, from about 30 feet up - a branch!

Just enough to cut into 4 pieces and make a dump run! =D

Could of had Cheech-ka-bob tonite!

it's not a fallen little tree, it's a branch raining down like an arrow!

Wow! 100k plus. Any tranny issues whatsoever? Any maintenance or work done on the tranny?
No trans work at all. Replaced tires, brake pads, serpentine belt, and did normal oil changes @ 8 to 10k miles w/ Mobile 1. Changed other filters as needed. Front brakes outlasted the rear brakes, which is weird, but they both lasted forever and it still stops like brand new. Getting ready to change trans fluid, differentials, etc... soon. It's been cheap to run so far and She's no grocery getter. I make her earn her keep. LOL

Been working on the '71 Browning AeroCraft Scout and '72 Johnson (9 1/2 hp) since I brought them

home from Florida after Easter. Got the new trailer pretty much done, so my Dad and I drug her out to the lake and tossed her in. What a blast. Ran like a sewing machine and the new Terrova was way cool to play with. I've had girlfriends that weighed more than that old boat when she's stripped down, but don't tell them I said that.

Just to let you know if you haven't looked at this. It recommends to replace the washers on both the drain and fill plugs on the transfer case when you change the fluid. I just ordered them and IMO it's just another way Ford robs you. They charged $13.10 each for them. The part number is AB3Z*7482*A.

And of course they didn't have any and needed to be ordered. ?

At least they weren't on back order with no idea when they would be back in stock. ?

Also changed rear for 2nd time maybe 20k miles on rear since last change.now.

Bent brake lines and brake line bracket out of the way this time. I have 285’s and have one in spare location spare was rubbing against brake line to the point where I can see bare metal on line. also with bracket bent out of way easier to pull dip stick from ARB diff cover. Might have to get ultra-swing sooner. Putting spare in the bed for now.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Changed the cabin air filter for the first time. Hallelujah!!!! By far the easiest such filter change of any vehicle I have ever owned!!! 5 minutes and done. No laying on my back. No standing on my head. No skinned knuckles. No nothing. Just changed the filter. Boom done. Wow. Impressed.

Video of said event (it was a very good day):

And, in case @AzScorpion really missed Soupie, the first two Social Influencer videos just for him. Oh, need to run, that'll be one of the Kardashian's at the door (ugh, so pesky). =D

Who needs Ambien with content this good!?!
