drove the four g to work like normal. but its dark as night time outside and storms on the radar. hoping the baby truck does not get another pounding of hail damage... it was such a clean truck before. now its like a golf ball. ?

Mark, I'm up in Corinth at the office. Always seems that in the Spring, at least one of my two days in the office always coincides with thunderstorms. Luckily no hail damage to my truck...and fortunately hail isn't expected today.

Went up to Santiago Peak in Orange County. Nice views. Pretty easy trail but really fun.

Changed transmission oil just so i could wear it out doing stuff like this. Still love how it tows. Very capable truck. Also works as a leveling kit, for the bed height defect.

I drove to the dealership to make an appointment for the transmission.

While there I had them add that my shift boot is cracked, sounds like water is sloshing behind the passengers side dash and there is a whistling sound from the passengers side rear window area.

appointment is the 29th of May, says they will have it 3-5 days. . .

I was hoping they would get it in before I went on my roadtrip to western colorado next week... as all they are going to do, I am sure is reset the trans and say see how it goes, replace the shift boot and tell me they can't figure out the sloshing sound . . .

Not retired yet! Gonna go to 70 unless they can me. My wife worked to 72, so I can only dream of retiring early and doing daily dump runs.

Hmm, and you bsr956 just sparked a new endeavor for me. If I want to spend my days doing dump runs, I need to change the entire dumping paradigm! I need to be a disruptor!

I think he equipped Soupie with two big buttons on the dash, marked DUMP and HOME.
He just pushes the appropriate button and Soupie goes to "Auto Pilot".....

Drove to "neighbor" and cut down, limbed and cut to pieces fifteen birches of 15-20" dbh. Ranger worked as a transport and a watering hole for the whole 2 hours. Based on the chainsaw battery usage I really need the next gen PHEV with more than 150W outlets for charging the batteries.
