What did you let go to get your Ranger?

A 2007 Silverado crew 2WD with 260k km on the clock and a 2017 Mazda3 sedan commuter car. The theory was that the difference in insurance and maintenance on 2 vehicles would offset the extra gas vs the 3 (only drove the Chev for truck things). Not sure it has gone exactly like that, but the driving enjoyment of the ranger is priceless compared with the old truck.

Haha I believe 1 was a sasquatch pizza...can't remember other. Kelp wouldn't be unexpected in these parts. Have you been to Cumberland recently?

Not recently but I lived in Vancouver for more than twenty years and spent a lot of time on Vancouver Island, from Holberg to Sooke and all sorts of places in between, including Zeballos, Tahsis, Youbou, and others. Courtenay was part of a big loop from the lower mainland to Sechelt, Powell River, Comox, Nanaimo, Schwartz Bay, and back to Tsawwassen.

Let go of a 2012 Chevy Avalanche to get my 2019 Ranger. I really loved that thing…a truck that rode like a car. Dropped the back seat/midgate and had room to carry a 14’ new kayak home. You could even remove the back window if you needed to…and it fit in the garage!

I guess you can tell I wish Chevy still made them lol!
