If you still have the old one,take a twister seal & remove the plastic cover. The wire inside should be the perfect size to go all the way thru the nozzle.
Might take a look at the Falken Wildpeak A/T. Not the A/T3'S as you don't need in Fl. Their A/T3's have been my go to tire last 3 sets.

I've never had them on a Ranger but have, on a full size GMC & a Jeep. They were quiet,rode nice,good in rain & the snow we get.
Seems they would be a good fit for your usage. I just like a more aggressive looking tire.
I wouldn't be so sure that it's a dealer issue. I gave up on FORDPASS (good name for it). I haven't been able to get into their website for a while & just gave up.

Interesting comparisons. I just traded a 3600 mile 23 Taco for a 21 Tremor & have no regrets at all. They both have their +'s & -'s.
The Taco drivetrain leaves a lot to be desired & have to admit the Tremor puts it to shame. The radio was the worst I've ever had.
