I read the TSB as codes or these conditions?
John, my truck experienced the shifting issues, but didn't have any codes with it. That is also the way that I had read it. They also quoted it as the first step of the TSB was completed on the invoice as well.

I had the software reflash done and it was covered with no questions asked . I would contact Ford customer service directly and explain your situation. I think your dealer is trying to pull a fast one. And maybe think about using a different dealer going forward.
Unfortunately, If I waited for the other dealer, I would have dad to drop the truck off to them and wait 6 weeks before they could even look at it, which in itself doesn't make sense. The dealer i went to instead was able to look at it within 2 days. We shall see what happens next!

And even the steps confirm that

But, don't mind me I'm just grumpy at all dealers. ?

I can't wait until dealerships go away and we can have indipendent shops be certified to do warranty work. That's essentially what a dealers service department is anyway. If one of them breaks something on your vehicle you can't get it fixed at a different dealer service department because Ford won't pay them to fix what someone else broke.

I completely agree. They drove my truck and said it had an issue, then reflashed it. Once reflashed they drove it again an said the issue was gone but to watch it for the 500 miles. I noticed the issue was still there but figured they will fight me if i don't wait the 500 miles before i take it back in for the next step.

When they flashed yours did you notice a difference, or was the problem still there?

I've had some minor issues with clunky/harsh shifts since I bought the truck. I did put the Unleashed 93 octane tune on it. I'm wondering how the dealership is going to treat this if I were to take it in for this TSB.

I also have a late 2019, and I'm at about 42k on it. It's been in the shop for the hvac box repair and I just got it back. Noted how smooth the transmission was on the drive home. I had the TSB done way back when that was just a software thing when I was experiencing clunky shifting on cold days when the engine was cold (and it would smooth out after it warmed up). Since I had that tsb applied, my transmission has been pretty buttery.
[/QUOTE

I just had it done a month ago and noticed it refined my shifting even more. I really didn't think my shifting was that awful before. I have a 2022 with 22,000 miles. I brought the truck in because of delayed engagement when cold. I dropped the truck in R on a 30 degree morning and hit the gas and nothing, then clunk it engaged. Felt like low fluid, so I had them check and upload the software, so far so good.

Me, the 10R80 has been out since 2017, two years before the Ranger got it, AND it's in millions of vehicles.

I had the reflash done ( no charge) and it was slightly better for a day or two then started having issues again. I put 200 miles on it and contacted the dealer who said to bring it back in. It got dropped off yesterday for the next step appointment that’s scheduled for tomorrow. It’s a 2022 with 16K on it.
