I liked the Fuel rims on the AutoCraze truck - looked to be pretty practical and light-ish. That snorkel was fugly but the only truck that had one. The total bed swap on the first Ranger was smart and it got me thinking a total tube steel cage on the back would rock.

What could be done with a limitless budget would be bonkers, I just don't know if I'd do it with a new Ranger unless it has the terrain management mechanics and software.

I just thought it was a neat showcase of ideas with some 5G builds I came across today during a little study break from some work stuff.

I liked the Stage 3 build, gave me an idea with the Rhino Rack on the roof with the traction boards and low pro fuel cans

The Yeti lives in the garage so I can't go real high profile but that would work ?

Re: the AutoCraze snorkel, isn't that facing the wrong way? I don't know a whole lot about them, but my understanding was that snorkels are supposed to (in part) act as an air intake, but could theirs do that when the opening is facing towards the rear? Was that more cosmetic than functional?

Technically, the head is supposed to face the rear. Google ram air hoods and you'll understand that air is actually sucked in better with that facing. Also, it helps with aerodynamics of the head.

I just watched the video, and the Auto Craze snorkel is popular in Australia. Originally, it was cheaper, but now its just as expensive but the 'cool' thing to do.

I googled as you suggested, and I'm still not clear how that works. From what I understood, there are basically three types: Ram Air Hoods, "Shaker" Hoods, and Cowls, with only the Cowls being rear-facing, and dependent on the windshield to create pressure to "bounce back" the air down the cowl. Not really seeing how this would work for a snorkel, though. I may go down this rabbit hole a little later, but seeing as I ask more out of curiosity than intent to actually put in a snorkel, the "honey-do" list trumps the rabbit hole for right now.

Ha! I used to cruise around with the second Ranger when I lived up in GA. Actually, the add-a-leaf from that truck from the beginning of the video are on my truck. HAHAHA That makes my truck pseudo-famous! ?
