You can polish glass... With a polisher and glass polish.

I'm not convinced it polishes as much as it hides defects...

I like the car supplies channel...

Yeah I got a buffer, I just need to buy new polishing pads and whatever compound I fancy.

But if I'm honest, lacking the motivation to do it. I'll see what driving at night is like for me, lol.

Don't look at me, I bought a fancy rupes polisher, more than a dozen pads, plus rayon pads, polishes and coatings and it's been sitting in my garage for 3 months... ?

And don't forget the dozens of microfiber towels I bought that are still sealed in their packages for coating applications and detailing before coating... ? ? ?

I have a habit of using cleaning towels and never washing them. Just pile them up in a corner.

The gf has a habit of grabbing my really soft microfiber towels and using them to clean around the house.

Usually it's the ones that are >5 bucks each...

She cleans around the house?

You should make sure she never runs out of them. ;)

I Haven't seen my wife touch a rag/towel outside of drying hands in... well, never.

I keep rags for glass, body work, house sork, and rags that will be destroyed sepa but once i use glsss rags they get used ss general purpose.

so any thoughts on the 255 to 285? ive been considering both sizes for when i wear out my current set of 265.

I made the same switch awhile ago and... I prefer the 285s. The truck feels more planted and steady. The 255s are in no way a bad size. They worked great and drove great, but I prefer the ride on the 285s.

I dont want to derail the thread into another tire thing - but did one of the sizes fit easier like no rubbing when flexing, not having to switch rims to after market?

Filled it with ethanol-free gas for the first time. 90 octane. I do one more tank after this and see how the mpg does.
Regional convenience store chain I use added ethanol-free at a remodeled location.

I have the OE wheels with 1" spacers. The 285s rub ever so slightly, but I also run 285/75r17. You would probably be better off with 285/70r17 if you're worried about rubbing. I did have to take out the crash bars and the waffle boxes but, again... 75 vs 70 sidewall.

Received and installed the White Knuckle Off Road sliders/steps. Packaged extremely well and quality looks spectacular. I was able to do the install alone using a jack and jack stands as listed in the instructions. Took me about 2.5 hours and that was with opening up the boxes, grabbing my tools, installing both sides, and picking everything up.

You too have an empty wire harness loom clip, I thought mine was empty cause mines 2WD and that was reserved for transfer-case related stuff.

Now I'm more curious.
