I couldnt agree with you more about how much I love my 2019 Ranger Lariat. I first saw one that I really liked in August 2022. I decided I had to have one. Subsequently, I did a national search, primarily on CarFax, for a low mileage 2019 Lariat with the 502A package, in Saber Orange. After about 3 months of combing the online ads, I came across one near Cleveland (I live in Michigan). I got as many details and pictures as possible from the Ford salesman. I had to see it so I flew to Cleveland. The salesman picked me up from the airport and drove the 25 miles to the Ford location. I looked over the truck, drove it, asked to have a few items taken care of, negotiated a decent price and bought it. Never any regrets. In fact the icing on the cake was that the truck was still on factory warranty (24,000 miles on the odometer), and further, was Gold Certified by the dealership. This gave me 100,000 miles coverage on the drive train, and another year on the bumper to bumper warranty. Let's not forget the 3 year 0.9% interest plan. What's there not to like??!! This is my 3rd Ranger. I previously had a 98 4 banger and a 2003 6 cylinder truck. The new one has so much more power then the 6 cylinder unit. Looking forward to experiencing the off road features along with some road trips when the weather warms up.

Curious, what Cleveland area dealer did you buy it from??

Glad you found the Ranger you were looking for and a good dealer Jim. Of course you picked the best color Saber and the best year that has all the deleted items. ? Right John @SigOris?:shock:
I understand the current POTUS has the same MY and color. Like minds think alike ????

I got it from Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village. Paul was the salesman. Great guy.
I bought five of the six vehicles I bought over the last 20+ years from Klaben Ford in Kent Ohio. Another great dealer.

If the illegal setting in the office has that color. It's satanic. Sorry that's how I feel about it.

Driving back from Mexico yesterday I started thinking again on how much I really love this truck. I mean it’s just a darn truck so what’s wrong with me that I keep obsessing over this thing? I’m 44 months into owning it and I feel like I did the first day I saw it on the dealers lot.:inlove: It really is one of the most comfortable vehicles I’ve ever owned and even on our trip last year I was never uncomfortable while driving it and I did 5,000 that month.

It drives so smooth and it seems the faster you’re going the smoother it gets. Must have something to do with having a damper? ? I’m still super impressed that this only a little 4 banger but the tune does make a HUGE difference. Driving along at 70 and hitting the gas makes me laugh because this thing really takes off like a rocket! ? I was averaging 75-80 mph the whole way home and still managed to get 23.5 mpg for the 180 mile long trip back. I still think I have the wrong engine in it. lol Sid @Msfitoy be quiet, I still have 64,400 miles to go before it goes. ? Did I mention it's a 2019 and the best color...Saber!?

So far I’m only 750 miles in, but I’m really impressed with this truck. Stock suspension, and i gotta say, it’s an extremely comfortable vehicle. I’m not disappointed by the ride at all. Smooth and keeps the baby sleeping.

Great seats, fantastic instrument ergonomics, plenty of back seat room, and the 2.3 really delivers the power. I do mostly highway driving between 70-80 and the passing power is so refreshing compared to my jeeps. The seats are far more comfortable than the CRV and the overall visibility from inside the cab is great. I couldn’t be happier thus far. Really want to try the Livernois tune, but I want to retain my warranty. Maybe in the future haha. My mileage isn’t quite what you’re getting, but I can chalk that up to cold weather, high speed, and break-in. I’d like to get into the20s, but I understand that’s asking a lot at 75mph into a headwind.

Glad to hear you're liking your Ranger! It is super comfortable and that's why I'm surprised when I see some say it's not. Your mileage should get a little better once it brakes in more but you're right, at 75 mph+ you do loose mpg. 70 mph seems to be the sweet spot although mine for some reason still does pretty good at 75 mph.

I said exactly the same about tuning mine. Then after a year I broke down and got one and wish I'd did it sooner. It's not tuned to the edge and with everyone here that's tuned, no one (so far) has blown theirs up or had major issues caused by one. It really does make a he difference not only in performance but shifting too. But even stock it is a great motor and impressive for a little 2.3 4 cyl.

Honestly I think the Ranger looks great in every color. Every color except blue. I'm not quite sure why but there's something about that blue color that just doesn't sit well with me. ??
The 2021 Velocity Blue Metalic? Maybe not for everyone but it is what made me fall hard for this truck.

I, too, love my Ranger. Best vehicle I've ever had. Comfortable ride, plenty of seating and storage, attractive (Lariat with Saber Orange paint), lots of power, great accessories and add-ons. It's a pleasure to drive.

This is what happens when inside jokes get lost to time. This was a poke specifically at @Friday yet? whom is/was/always has been the blue crew cheerleader numero uno. He was just trying to get under Friday's skin - I don't think AZ had anything out for Velocity.

(We all know it rules, it's ok.)
