I just want to know what engine option you have, if it has rear seat A/C and will a 5G Ranger (crew cab) tonneau cover fit the bed - or is it a totally new geometry.

Congrats, I wont lie the Ranger Raptor is growing on me. Maybe more so if my wife did not always complain about the interior size on the Ranger when we tow. I have to see the interior accents in person but on camera I just do not like orange that much, hope they offer a black out interior in 2025 or something.

Even then, no way I can convince my wife on a Ranger Raptor, the F150 Raptor would get her approval though so I can't complain too much. Just want this economy to improve. Being self employed as well, being payment free is more appealing at this moment.

the Ranger Raptor has the 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo with 405HP &430lb ft torque.....NO rear a/c vents but the a/c system seems better/colder then my previous 2021 Lariat Tremor which also did not have rear a/c vents.....

I didn't switch my tonneau cover over from my 2021 Lariat Tremor as I wanted a new one with a textured surface so I can't tell even it would have fit......HOWEVER.....I did keep my rubber bed mat and it seems the actually bed width is a bit wider around the wheelwells as the rubber mat doesn't fit like a glove like before.....but I'm still going to use it as I like having a rubber mat over the spray in bedliner for more protect and helps to keep my stuff from sliding around and/or scratching the bottom of the bed......

Here's the new tonneau cover I ordered.. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D4FGB24B/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like the textured surface and cheaper then my previous one (Realtree website price is $1,349.99 versus off of Amazon for $1,110.87 .....I think this Amazon price was a fluke because the same bookmarked page on Amazon now shows it $1,349.99...glad I bought it last night and saved over $200!)

The orangeish red accents are pretty cool I have to admit......and luckily for me I was able to trade in my 2021 Lariat Tremor and pay the difference so no truck payment.

side note, I previously had a 2019 Raptor Supercab.....a rare truck apparently.......that truck was nice but I didn't like the wider track and having to park it in crowded areas....let alone the supercrew which I think are enormous!!.....this thing is the perfect size IMO!!......and the price is very good when compared to the Taco Pro or the ZR2 or ZR2 bison

It wouldnt happen to be 48” or wider between the wheelwells in the bed would it? I could totally see justifying this purchase just to throw a plywood sheet flat back there haha. Ours is like 43-44” and I’ve chipped a few sheets

yep, I previously said my lariat Tremor was "almost" as good as the Ranger Raptor and I wasn't interested and didn't need it and....blah, blah blah........well, I went for it and bought one today!!!....My Tremor was having tranny issues and the dealer did the valve body replacement 1,000 miles ago......and was kinda giving me the run around when I said I wanted it fixed the right way with either the CDF drum replaced or a new tranny as per the TSB.....but was getting lots of pushback from the same dealer......and the tranny was getting worse.....much worse actually as was really slow shifting and then slamming into gear.....it previously almost left me stranded and I had it towed to the dealer.......and I was done trying to convince the dealer to keep it for a day or 2 and drive the shit out of it to see for themselves.......all the dealer wanted to do was have the tranny tech "check it out"......I'm no dummy...that means "it's fine and that's how it suppose to feel".....

So Carmax offered me $30,000 for my Tremor and there is a Lariat Tremor exactly like mine within 10 miles from me at a Lexus dealership listed for $34,500....so I figure I could sell mine to a private party and wait weeks and weeks or try to trade-in knowing a Ford dealership might pay a lil more then Carmax.....

Long story short, the dealer gave me $31,00 which was actually $1,000 more then I was going to settle for.......and I got the $4,000 mark-up down to $2,000 over which isn't bad for So CA!.....I thought about buying from a dealer out of state for msrp but with driving back and/or shipping and not knowing how to deal with my trade-in I decided this deal was a winner for me!......so I got a decent amount for my Trade-in ($31,000) and I paid $2k over msrp which is not bad considering I see them ranging from a minimum over $5k over to $10k over locally.....

anyway.....LOVE it!!.....Memory seats...finally!!.......and my previous test drive was a joke as the sales guy back then didn't tell me I can change the steering wheel settings from comfort to normal to sport which makes the steering feel easy, medium or harder......and the different exhaust options....quiet, normal, sport and baja.......sounds awesome!........the huge screen is pretty bad-ass and easy to use once you figure it out......love the orangeish-red accents inside......the seats are super comfy......and yes it's powerful......it has a warning at 3,000 rpm to ease off until the truck hits 500 miles so I've been taking it easy today but once it hits 500 miles the rpm waring goes away and it'll be time to shake and bake!

anyway, THANKS A MILLION TO EVERYONE for your friendship and advice and also to help me with my 5g Tremor journey but now I'll be moving over to the Ranger 6G forum to spend some more $$$ on mods!...LOL

here it is....Azure grey with beadlock capable rims and the graphics package.....

It’s not the truck you need, it’s the truck you want? I’ll be a RR owner in a bout 16 months, but I won’t be getting rid of the 5g tremor for it… the RR is a special feel to it isn’t it. I super happy for you brother. The adjustable exhaust is pretty slick and the customizable steering feel is a really neat touch too. Great looking truck, will you be keeping the raptor decals on the bedsides? Personally it looks good either way but I will be part of the decal delete party when the time finally comes.

@Jackpot Tremor , that is an awesome looking RR you’ve picked out. I’m kind of jealous, Ha Ha. I’ve checked out a white one and a black one but yours looks a lot better IMHO. Why don’t you check in here now and then because we have some of the best people on this forum.

you're right....I didn't "need" it but damn I wanted it!!.......I wasn't looking for the beadlock capable rims or the decal package but now I'm glad it came with it.....I'm digging the decal package especially on this "special" Azure grey color.....just makes it pop!...and the rims are cool.....not $1,495 extra cost cool but whatever....I'm not changing them!

I was playing around with it more today before my workout and I found the drive mode settings......damn sales guy didn't even show me those...WTH?!!....I knew that they were there but didn't know you had drive modes in both 2wd and 4wd.....so yeah, sport mode in 2wd as well as normal.......and all the different drive modes for off road in addition to the steering wheel and dampening and exhaust adjustments......it's all just soooooo damn bad ass!!

I LOVED my Lariat Tremor.....except the stupid tranny......but the RR is on a whole different level!!......seriously worth the upgrade.....I paid $50K with the stupid dealer mark-up of $1,500 in 2021 for the Lariat Tremor and now the RR cost me $63k with the stupid dealer mark-up of $2,000.......with inflation now and what you get for the RR, it's priced right!!....drives waaaaaaaaaay better then the Tremor.......and 405HP......adjustable steering, dampening & drive modes.....better seats and adjustments and memory seats....it's more brash for sure.......you truly can't appreciate it with just a little test drive......I wasn't impressed on the first test drive......watching more online videos and reviews and a 2nd much more in depth test drive and getting a real feel for it is was it needed and then you realize what it is........I don't NEED it......but I LOVE it & bought it!
