Rangerless but I ordered Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 3 tires for winter. Now need to get a truck for them.
Can’t wait to see the whole Ranger Raptor when you get it. Fantastic color! :turkey:

Washed the truck (cheated and went through a car wash).

Synthetic clay bar, followed by a spray detailer, then a spray on wax, then hydro view on the windshield. Planning to do a rub on wax before winter gets here.
In the years and miles I've driven this truck, it's only been hand washed a couple of times...mostly because of hard water at my home...but touchless washes has done a pretty amazing job of keeping her finish like new...

2 small but very satisfying things...
I found a place I like for my trigger 6 controller using the visor clip mount, no issues so far with my knees knocking switches, its in reach but out of the way. No loss valve caps, I always use these caps on my rigs and bikes its just a little thing that makes airing up/down so much simpler and by simpler I mean me not wasting 10 mins looking in the sand and rocks for a valve cap that is in my shit pocket, wait no its in my backpocket...no i put it in the tread on top of the tire... nope not there either its in my Staun deflaters pouch. Yah no more of that :)

Took the afternoon off, and finally installed the winch I bought 2 months ago .

Was more of a pita than I was expecting, and I'm not 100% sold on it yet, but we'll see how it goes.

Between off-roading over the next few months, and maybe some else Nino snow, you never know.

Decided to mess around with the transmission.

Truck is now using all 10 gears majority of the time during normal driving. Less confusion and slightly quicker shifts. Harsher throttle it seems to skip 5th and 8th.

Very happy, just hoping it stays this way. It still gets sluggish during the 3rd gear torque converter lock up however, but eh...

Do get a very soft subtle but unconcerning clunk during shifts. 9/10 mod.

After I stopped pouting like a toddler over the idea of not getting my bed rack or new rear shocks in time for my fall off-road trip next week, I impulse ordered a mishimoto cold air intake. Arrived yesterday and installed it today. Start to finish was about 1.5 hours... that's 30 minutes to remove the old intake box and assemble all parts of new box... 40 minutes of searching for that tube of loctite I swear I just saw yesterday to use for the one non-oem bolt I had to install for the side standoff rubber isolating bushing thingy ?‍♂. Another 10 minutes getting the new box, filter and intake tube installed, then another 10 figuring out how to get the coupling piece to mate up successfully on both sides... I'd recommend installing it to the bottom first, then installed the filter, seal and tube.

Overall install was super easy... just have your loctite out before you start.

Also wrapped up the truck bed lighting. (Don't mind the mess, it was a race to the finish with light stands in the dark and I left the junk.)

its super modular and easy to relocate the lights anywhere in the bed as my needs/layout change.

Might be pulling the inverter and DC charger out for upcoming camping trip since I don't have time to run a new circuit for the charger. We'll see how motivated I am tomorrow.

Installed the ARB rear summit bumper a few weeks ago. Finally had the chance today to get a good pic. Also bought a cheapo black matte cover off ebay to cover all the chrome around the rear ford emblem.

Got the time to install my Fitzstick transmission dipstick today. Went fairly well other than getting at and removing the OEM stick is a PITA. Designed, fabricated and sold by a forum member to specifically fit our Rangers. Super well done all around with the dipstick premarked. Unlike the more expensive generic one.
