It's basically foam....BUT..... think of it as an emergency flotation device should you ever drive into deeeeeep water....it will keep your Ranger afloat !!!

in todays society my truck can identify as whatever it chooses. I noticed that it seemed depressed so I had a conversation wit it. It told me it wanted to identify as a twin turbo 289 and I have to be supportive of it feelings

Yeah Dave, it was a lot better a few years ago when you could get that kit with hardware for well under $100.

I actually have a second one that will be here on Monday. I placed the order and never got confirmation so placed the order I got today will be posting it in the market once I get it at a discount

Yesterday actually, Dropped it off at dealer... Ended up wasting my time and getting the typical "operating normally" bullshit. Ford dealers are the worst.
Ah well, $15 for a tire rotation isn't terrible.

Got a bit of hate for a stupidly dirty engine when I posted pics of either the cover or that afe intake thing. So.. sorta cleaned it. Didn't go crazy with the scrubbing/water under the hood... but it is not totally nasty now.

Washed the truck (cheated and went through a car wash).

Synthetic clay bar, followed by a spray detailer, then a spray on wax, then hydro view on the windshield. Planning to do a rub on wax before winter gets here.

Added some blackout Valances to the topper/cap interior. Found exact correct size, added Velcro and installed. Back window usually covered by Kelty Backroads Shelter so left that alone.

Installed the Auxito third brake light. Sort of a pain for the Ranger. You have to connect by pulling down the rear headliner from inside the vehicle. But happy with the end result.

Wanted to give the Ranger a more Halloween decor so replaced the snorkel inlet with a Jack-O-Lantern I picked up at Home Depot. I gave it a more unfriendly paint job after I got my mounting set.

That is just out n out exceptional !!! Outrageous !!!
Only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be some red led's behind the eyes !!!!
