I just put on a set of the BFG KO3's and They're better than what I expected. 285/70/17 on a leveled 19 Lariat with Ready Lift High Clearance Intrusion Beams. No rub whatsoever. And they look mean. Super quiet and ride as good as if not better than the stock Hankooks. I highly recommend. I've had the truck up to 80 which is high for me and its smooth as can be. Just in case anyone is on the fence. I know tires are like politics so just my opinion and review.

Looks nice!

Do you plan to offroad with them? I've been waiting for someone to get their hands on them and try them.

Just took a peak. I see the mino change in design. I am curious if the sipes in the tread are going completely down to the tire itself. If not it's going to suffer after a certain amount of miles in wet traction and winter traction

From what I can tell they do.

Tire Rack has them, but very limited sizes: the 285/70R17 the OP has and maybe one or two 20" size(s).

ohhhhh! The ko2 have been the best a/t tire i have ever seen. they are not the best at anything but are what a true a/t should be, good at everything and street friendly. So im really interested to know about ko3. Happen to know what the differences are in the ko2 and ko3?

I've literally scoured the internet looking for comparisons to the KO2 but there is nothing. I had a set of KO2's on my old truck and loved them. They are exactly what you described. So far I feel like these are better. From what I can tell they are designed to be better in the rain from the KO2's by looking at the tread pattern. They are quieter than my KO2's from what I remember and the KO2's weren't even loud. I havent had the chance to rain test yet but so far so good.

Just put Toyo Open Country on mine 285/60-18. For me I found them much quieter then the K02. Toyo are definitely better in the rain for traction. Would be curious on the K03.
