So I just bought some 285/60/R18 BFG KO2 tires I'm planting on my factory 18s. After countless hours searching the internet and coming up short on some factual information I decided to do the math and got the measuring tape out... ?

The math says with my 2'5" level I should be more then fine with putting these tires in my factory rims with zero rubbing or cutting of my crash bars. Should sit about 20mm outside the fenders. Ontario law = passed. Let's see if my math is correct.. ?

Keep tuned for Monday!

You just have to watch out for clearance between the tire sidewall and the spindle. I imagine you should be okay, hopefully. I had 275/65r18's on my OEM 18's, without spacers, and it was pretty tight.... like couldn't fit a finger between the two tight.

If you are on stock +55 offset wheels you will more than likely rub on the knuckle a 265/70/18 tire will fit with a 2.5 level ( or a fox/bilstine/ebach/OME suspension kit ). Even with the 265s there isn't a whole lot of extra space. I'm guessing you'll need a 1/2" spacer minimum.

The 265/70s look good on it too.

Are you planning on running a spacer?

I truly hope I won't need spacers but tbh I feel like im going to need at least 20mm as thats what my math has kinda told me. We shall see.

Did you fit these tyres, I want to carry out the same mod so I am very interested as the tyres are £300 each?
