A couple videos of the water flowing from the Douglas Creek off the main road. These were pretty powerful, just standing on the platform you could actually feel the rail shake a little.

I just entered my fill up from Flagstaff, AZ to Kanab, UT and averaged 23.3 mph for 207 miles. This had a few downward slopes and also a couple good climbs up some passes but it mainly was fairly flat. I readjusted the dash computer because it was off from the factory 1.6 mpg and now it's dead on to my Fuelly app.

We were walking along the shore heading to the far end of the lake and stopped to rest. After feeding the bird I had another friend begging for some food. I made the mistake of feeding him and couldn't get rid of him now.

You really should have taken him home as a souvenir… then you can cooly look at Annie and say “Now that’s how it’s done, we don’t need this shopping crap…”

I thought you could get up closer to the waterfalls but there's no way to. You'd have to walk through the water (it's freezing!) to cross over and maybe then climb up the side to possibly get closer.

Here's the view from the far end looking back towards where you first come out of the main trail.

There's so much brush and trees at the far end you could only get one waterfall closeup.

Walking back towards the trail there's a small beach like area where the sun was reflecting the mountain and waterfalls off the lake. The water has a nice aqua green color almost like you're in the Gulf of Mexico in FL.

Spectacular scenery! It looks like you and Annie are taking in some great sites.

She's actually been good (so far) on this trip with the shopping. But there really hasn't been all that many gift shops/stores except for in Jackson Hole. We didn't get to walk around there because it was pouring rain (thank you God!⛈) when we were going to go there. I'm sure that'll all change once we get back over to South Dakota.?‍♂

Yes we are! We've also been really lucky with the weather as they keep saying rain and yesterday was the only day it rained all day. Most days it doesn't start until after 2:00pm and we're about done by then since we try to get to the parks by 7:00am and beat the crowds.

Thanks Sid.

? You might be on to something there? This might be a way to supplement damper and Graphene sales.?

Dave teases but you have to know that he really wants to move out of the heat of the valley and move to a location that is about 5,000 feet in elevation, is in the midst of a hugh Ponderosa forest, gets little snow and is much cooler that Phoenix area. Chris loves the Prescott area but you should consider Payson as I know Dave is secretly considering.
Yeah, because he wants to start a bell pepper farm in your area. :giggle:

Annie's birthday is today so we just got back from having a great Mexican dinner at Vaqueros. We split a very strong strawberry margarita and we both got chicken burrito's which surprisingly were very good. If you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend stopping here. The food and service is excellent!
