A grease gun but can't find any grease fittings on the truck :frown:

Got about 100 fittings on the other equipment though.

Walking through Home Depot; "Hmm this is neat. I don't need it now, but may in the future".

Also, the Future: The dickfer I bought at Home Depot now has 3 years worth of dust layers on it.

Been there done that.

I go through over a case of grease a year with all my tractors, mowers, backhoe, sawmill, and cnc machinery so this will definitely get used. Wanted it for years but didn't want to pay the price. Finally found a great deal and love it. Set the number of pump equivalents on a hand gun, pull the trigger and a second later it's greased. I believe proper maintenance extends equipment life and after muscle loss and pain caused by the vaccine It just hurts to do some things that never used to bother me.

It's a right of passage to over-purchase an M18 tool. Ok it was one door frame I had to grind down for floorboard but I looked like gat dang Bob Villa doing it!

From EGRUSA on Amazon. They are basically relabeled RTR Flares without the front bumper cap. $300 for the set. Good fitment and easy installation. Texture matches the factory side steps, rear bumper, and other aftermarket stuff I have, so I don't have too many different textures on the truck.
Those the 'baseline' set or the 'rugged' set?

Received some new plugs for the rear differential (Repair manual says to replace them and for $3/per why not). Going to change the fluid at 47k miles and am sure it will be tar black…

Purchased parts on Ford.com yesterday afternoon and were on my doorstep this morning, not bad.

Lucky! My rear diff doesn't have a drain plug.
