Offset is more frequently used on our trucks. +55

You can figure the backspacing from there but there's really no need to.

You come from Jeeps?

I understand that, but the instructions on my lift say do not use anything more than 5 inch backspace so I was trying to reference with the factory wheel is in “”back space”” while I am here at work being unable to measure it till late tonight. Thanks again.

What lift?

I haven't seen a lift for our trucks that isn't compatible with stock wheels/tires.

Backspacing is axle pad to inside edge. Offset is axle pad to centerline. You know the wheel deminsions and the offset. You can math the backspacing.

Knew it. I've got to switch my brain to backspacing when dealing with my YJ and the Jeep folks.

What ever happened to teaching a man to fish?

I'm a milkman. But if you need somebody to math it for you.

8" wheel width which is 203.2 millimeters hub face is 55 milimetes from centerline which is 101.6 millimeters from the inside edge. Which means the hub face is 156.6 millimeters from the inside edge. Or 6 ÂĽ".

For a guy with "racing" in his username you seem kinda needy.

I’m still trying to figure out what lift kit this is and why there’s a backspace limit.
