Took the Ranger to the Ford dealership to get my friend an Explorer Timberline. I planted the off-road fun seed in his mind a couple weekends back and here we are :) The Explorer is pretty peppy, and it's not even the ST version with the 400 hp. The transmission is also a lot smoother for some reason. Feels buttery. Maybe I need to take off my BOV

Truck does look good, even if it does resemble a Baby-Bro just a little.
You do you!
Thanks Chris - if I change my mind on the amount of poke, Tremor wheel trim (paint-matched) should take care of it.

for some reason, I have no abilities with tools! tried to unscrew the plastic "screw" that holds the fender liner and 75% of them was not turning....!

Hey Brandon,

I’m not sure if you’re a good or bad influence. ? Either way, it should be good fun.

After removing the Bushwackers and doing my best to buff out the scuffing from the fender flares, I’m going to take @Fordup ’s good advice and have some pros assess it. It has a few small door dings and there is a very good detailing shop a few blocks from me. They’re big on ceramic and paint correction and have a mobile PDR guy that comes to their place.

The truck looks good but it now makes the Westin side steps stick out like the rusted out sore thumbs they are :( so, I took them off too.?

Canadian winters are hard on things but I think Canadian winter road maintenance practices are even harder.

I’m not so sure I want to be dealing with blasting and painting these every couple of years so they are hanging from the rafters in the garage along with the Bushwackers.

As a result, True North is looking a little slimmer and trimmer…

I’m liking’ it. I don’t even mind the bro’ truck starter kit thing it has going on. ?

I took my running boards off and never looked back. Also, consider getting some Lund SSX OE style fenders like I have. Bigger than tremor, but smaller than everyone else.

Thanks Jack, I‘ve always really liked the clean look of those flares on your truck.

I’m leaning toward the Tremor flares because I’m tired of losing the battle with the rubber piping failing. I don’t know if it’s the salt and brine on the roads, the high pressure jets on the touchless car wash, or the detail sprays I use, but I’m done fighting the battle of failing adhesive tape.

Mine don't use adhesive. Rubber trim uses friction to stay put.
