I currently run an Eibach pro-truck stage 1 kit (bottom tier). This consists of replacement front/rear struts and their front springs. It should also be noted I run their 1" rear block. Total height is 3" front/rear.

Much better than factory, however have driven on this setup for a while I am still a bit "floaty" for lack of a better description. I don't know if it is due to my unique weight setup (pre-loading the rear unintentionally) or something else.

Would like some insight on next steps without breaking the bank.

hey Jack, you could give the auto spring corp leaf kit a shot for the rear. works with what you have already and is a simple drop in. they add stability / stiffness. they settle in nicely and ride much more predictably than the truck did before. I dont remember the exact cost but it was under 300. also adds about 1.5 inch lift, so maybe you could remove the block from the rear with the leafs added. i like them on mine. https://autospringkits.com/product/2019-2023-ford-ranger-rear-add-a-leaf-kit/

Are you still on the stock rear leafs?

My Magic 8 Ball says new rear leafs are in your future.

Contact Stage 3 and ask them their recommendations as their project truck had a lot on the bed.

I believe they ran the Icons which have a bit of tunability for both weight and height.

The 3" OME springs might be a good choice as well

While I don't constantly carry additional weight on my truck, going to Tremor leafs from the factory mono leaf did produce a noticeable improvement in ride.

I think this may be the next ideal step on the low rung of the ladder as the next stages are going to be drastically more expensive. Thank you.

As long as Money isn't an object o do have a recommendation since I know what you do. I highly suggest the BP-51's from Old Man EMU. Why the BP-51'S? Simply for the fact you can find tune the compression and rebound and the shocks are designed for Overlanding/Touring. Depending on how far you want to go it may not be a bad idea to pair it with a set of Old Man EMU Leafs. Just got to figure out how much weight you have in the back to get the right set.

I have the wildtrak springs an they helped. I'm not sure they're a good match to my Eibach shocks though. I've seen a few complaints on the Icon leafs sagging an needing replaced. I guess they are good about sending replacements but it's a pain to swap them.

There was a video someone shared an it said the Fox rode soft, the Eibach or Bilstein rode firm an there was a new set up that just hit the market that was in the middle (the Goldielocks set?).

here is how the rear looks after the leafs i mentioned. much firmer than stock. no more bouncy rear. not a huge lift but about 1 3/4 over stock.

So when I was picking up my new to me used decked bed system from a member here earlier in the week I was talking about this. He looked under my truck and said something like, "Yea, getting close to your bump stops". lol

Visually the height looked off to me on the rear having 1+ and Eibach shocks, but I know the front and rear fender wells are not perfectly matched 1:1

Front is set to 3" with eibach shocks and springs.

Definitely a problem to say the least. Any idea about how much weight you have in the rear before you load up for a trip?
Let me see if I can guestimate

90lb Strut channel roof sub frame
85lbs RCI Bed Rack + 2 Panels
60lbs RCI Additional Paneling
20lbs Strut Channels vertical storage framing
35lbs 8 Plano vertical storage boxes
26lbs 2 Plano roof rifle cases
40lbs ARB Awning
30lbs? roof lighting
10lbs? nuts and bolts
20lbs? durslat flooring
220lbs? decked bed storage
20lbs? Various brackets

So really rough guestimate would be 660 lbs (rounded)

I guess all my various storage contents would add another 100 lbs, maybe less maybe more. Couldn't tell you.

The basic Old Man EMU Leafs would be strained with that load. If you go with the medium Leafs you should be set. They are designed to lift 1.6 inches with a constant load of 660 LBS.

So what about the autospring helper leaf? It says it adds an additional 700lbs of capacity, but I honestly have no idea how those differ from the OME's.
