It looks like they went into CAD and said increase height of everything by 20% and tossed into into a taller chassis.

The grill, the headlights, even the body lines are similar. And once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Now, why did you do that???! I never noticed before.:inspect:

So after some thought and constant stressing over my Ranger, I ended up getting a Frontier. Not the best time to get a new truck but after considerable thought, I figured it was best to make the switch rather than dumping anymore money or time into the Ranger. I got the Frontier at MSRP and Ranger trade in was very close to what I purchased it at. Frontier was quite a bit more than the Ranger but as the kids these days say YOLO! My wife has been giving me a really weird stare since I got home with the truck. And just last night I had a really weird dream that someone was standing over me with a pillow. Ah I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about ? Anyway, I loved the Ranger but with some of the issues with my particular truck, I needed something I wasn’t constantly worrying about. Hopefully this truck will be solid but as usual time will tell. Anyway I definitely still plan on hanging around this forum, you all are a good group of people and funny as hell. Maybe we can add a Frontier section just for us sellouts to hang around ?

Time to commence with the bashing…I’ll be annoyed if you guys don’t. Oh and btw, these Frontiers have a built in (hidden) tailgate damper.

Sad to see you go but life is to short to not be happy and worrying about something. Enjoy the new truck. As a bonus the seats are supposed to be even better than the excellent ranger seats and the interior is refreshed. I may have waited to see what the 6g ranger would shake out but congrats ?

Yeah new Ranger will be interesting to see. The seats are pretty comfortable. I’d say they are on par with the Ranger seats.

Been eying the frontiers myself, but they're very rare here. Even the previous gen.
One day I'll find one that's not 200+ miles away to test drive.
That’s too bad. They probably had 15 total on the lot out here but I drove about 40 minutes to the bigger dealership in our area. They said they could pretty much get anything in in a day to a week from other dealers around the state. I know Toyota has been having trouble keeping Tacomas in stock but they also sell way more than any other midsized truck. Our area has had quite a few Frontiers.

I’ve always liked the green. Something a little different I guess.
It’s a good-looking truck. We have to be confident in our truck’s reliability. If I had any doubt about my Ranger, I’d get something else. Hope you enjoy your Frontier for many years to come! :)

Lucky.
Jeeps are the cool kids around here. I saw one frontier on the lot last month but at $76k I didn't even bother requesting a test drive.

When my neighbor bought a black lariat ranger I noticed it, and I can't unsee it.

Now I must spread the fun to all...
