Installed the Decked system. I picked it up used for $750. Retail would have been $1600 for the system and the rails. Too good a deal to pass up.

Now to fill them with stuff.

I jump started it today. 9k miles. 2022. It was dead. Completely dead. No horn, lights nothing! Just the cigarette lighters worked. Really weird. The jump didnt do it either. Just kind of came back to life. An f150 with overland gear and rack on the bed stopped to help. Tightened all batt connections with a small dewalt impact. 2nd time it happens. I miss my 2020 ranger. My 2022 is not quite up to par. Though the locker is nice, and im going to get it stuck way out in the middle of south padre island this weekend. Ill just be sure to do it at high tide.

It has happened to a few members here on the forum too. I believe it is related to a bad battery issue. Fingers crossed. I just dont know where on the forum it is here.

Modern batteries are not as well constructed as they used to be as the manufacturers are looking for weight and cost savings. Ford Motorcraft batteries seem to be extra know to have a short lifestyle.
