Speaking of chirping tires, on my trip down east, I pulled out of my cottage laneway onto a paved 2-lane rural road and got my foot into it. I had solid traction off the start but it chirped the tires on the shift. What the what?!?!

I’ve chirped them off the start but never on the shift. I wasn’t sure if it was something on my tires, on the road surface, a touch of lean leftover from making the turn, or the camber of the road, but it seemed like I was well past the turn and pin-straight at the time. Anyway, it sure produced a big grin. :D
Duke,
A little more pressure on the accelerator and you're at the next level!

I don’t know Paul - maybe on a different road - that one was a bit squirrely from the start.

Corn Dogs help reduce the atrophy... ? :whew: ?
I hate to admit it, but I do like me a corn dog and it's something I dearly miss from living in Texas.

Greta will be glad to know that I take all this cardboard to the recycling center (not allowed to burn in my town). =D

Boring but I got an oil change and tire rotation..5k miles interval
Nice interval for tire rotation, you should get maximum life out of them.

I'm hoping for an impact wrench for my birthday and then I'll join you in that great tire rotation schedule!

Get yourself a set of these and the oil changes and tire rotations are souper easy!
----> Quick Jack <----- If you watch for the sales or shop for the open box deals they are pretty reasonable. If I recall correctly, I paid $1300 for the open box kit.

Awesome day today. Picked up over a half ton of old bricks from the demolition at the shuttered Neuweiler brewery in Allentown, PA (I can just hear Billy Joel ?). Took them to the industrial history museum in Bethlehem, they're going to sell them in the gift shop. Recycling at its finest!
And I'll bet none of you ever heard of Neuweiler Beer!

The demo supervisor made fun of my baby truck, he's got a Superduty. But I found a Ranger buddy there, couldn't park next to it, damn Chevy, but got a picture.

The main building with copper cupola is staying for upscale condo's, some developer has deep pockets...

Thanks for the link! Those are pretty cool, once I went to your link and see how they lift the frame, you had me sold.

Now to find a deal because new they list at $1,850!

BUT ... not only would this be good for Soupie (plus a zillion points to you for your Soupie reference) but we could use them on my old FJ40 too, as I work with my daughter on restoring it. Man, this would sure beat crawling around placing jack stands (although, I did just spend some $$$ on semi-US=made ones for a Christmas gift to her).

Thanks, I'm excited about this really useful and time saving tool! Not to mention the significantly less hassle than me with a bottle jack and my old and shot shoulders!

I'll be checking their site a few times a week and hope to get a good deal like you did by summer. =)

I think that one ups a dump run!

Recycling has Greta's approval (LOL) plus how cool that they are from a brewery and it'll help raise some worthy cash!

I think this nominates you for the Annual Special Soupie Awards!

*raises a pint to Trevor*

"ASS Awards" are a Ranger5G trademark

Theres a bunch of accessories that you can get for that lift too. I really like mine. They are simple to use. Get them lined up and push the button & up she goes. They are only about 2" tall when collapsed, so I just keep them under the vehicle......but they do make a hanger for them to mount on the wall if you choose.

The ;low profile is ideal for my limited garage space. I'm getting 240 wired out to the garage but will likely get the 11 version so I can use it at my daughters.

Thanks again, this is so perfect for our needs and so much better than anything I could think of (like pneumatic lift bags).
