Why do ricers love things that sound like a cow farting in a tin can ?
Pretty sure a cow fart would have a lot of heft ?

No, that tells me there's power behind that flutter.
If I had panties, they'd be wet right now.
So what power threshold takes something from ricer category to not-ricer category.

I make fun of ricers plenty, I'm just not sure our ideas of the definitions are the same.

Do I have this right?

The BOV hiss or this turbo flutter is normally heard when you lay off the accelerator to press in the clutch, and change gears on a manual transmission.

So, to replicate this on our automatic 10-spd transmissions, we need to be on and off the gas when we don’t need to be, with the sole purpose of making noises it wouldn’t normally make?

Sounds pretty dumb, no?

I have an atomospheric BoV and hear it quite frequently. You come off your gas pedal more than you think.

I've even heard it on occasion when using cruise control and the computer is handling it all.

I guess I’m glad I can’t hear it. Maybe I just don’t get it - is there a benefit to the aftermarket BOV?

Rice=Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements

Anything added to a vehicle to make it look or sound like a racecar.

For example the grocery list you used to have in vinyl on your truck. Don't worry, we've all done ricey stuff.

So for a person who slips a coke can into their intake tract to create flutter for no reason on a vehicle that comes equipped with a bypass valve that is pure and simple rice.

An LS swapped into a square body running some sort of custom turbo setup? Completely different.

You'll find argument that changing to an atmospheric BoV is more healthy for the turbo longevity, though I am not sure how that stacks up to a re-circulation BoV as they both do something with the left over pressure. Me personally? I love the sound /shrug

haha man talk about a long time ago. However I did not do that as rice, I was working on something at the time that did not pan out.

Dang, can't believe its the same truck. Way back on rack Version 1!
