Change cabin air filter

I've searched, read the manual and still can't find relevant info on removing the glove box to change out the filter. I just don't want to break anything. And it has the damper cable too. Thanks

Don't feel bad - I've done the same thing on numerous occasions, but I'm getting better at remembering to look at YouTube for videos on stuff like this. It is amazing how useful a video is over just printed directions.

And to remain on topic, it really is as easy as the video shows to replace the cabin air filter - I was a little worried about the damper thing, but it is really simple. And I guess if you have a newer model (21 and later maybe?) you don't have to worry about the damper - it was a victim of cost cutting....

Google up "2020 Ford Ranger Cabin Filter Replacement"....
Brings up several, one is a good U-Tube video that shows very completely how to do it.
Very easy...probably take longer to clean out the glove box than t change it.

Yeah it's a cheap trick Ford is playing on Ranger owners. Wow you with a damper on the glove box and bupkis on the tailgate. Good thing I came along. ?
