Well, I had a torn Achilles a couple years ago so the damper should help with that injury? , so no hanging my head in shame. And that's the story I'm sticking to ?


That's a good price though, cheaper than the OEM ford one.

I'm pretty sure the Ford one is just a rebranded DeeZee damper.

The video inspired me to check mine-ugh I think it is the original. Be careful when you disconnect the damper, may have pulled a muscle opening the glove box.

Since OP got his filter changed and this has become a damper thread - I will admit the damper and my 3 year-old's head seem like a winning combination. Might have to order a kit for while he's little. (So I tell myself.)

I legit PM'd him ( @AzScorpion ) when I was trying to install my damper and ran into an issue. I thought he really was the CEO of DeeZee (see his occupation) and asked for help. And yet... he still replied trying to help me out. What a guy! ?

Love the damper. Second mod I did after the M2M lower grille insert. The Ranger is my only vehicle so it's handy when I've got an armload of groceries. I unplugged the electric tailgate lock for the same reason. Had tailgate cables snap on other trucks I've owned.
