Glad the file could help. I started tooting around in my files again the past few days as I am doing some upgrades myself this week.

This is just my opinion- these look massively out of place being that far from the body line. Are you planning to make them that big or are you bringing them closer to the shape of the cab?

I think just from that angle it looks out of place. I drew the angles out for the headboard to mimic the standardized angles of the canopies that are on the market.

Have I mentioned that I'm jealous?

By the way, that part of the headache rack that sits out past the cab might be an awesome place to mount ditch/work/camp lights!!!

my thoughts exactly too. I will incorporate a GMRS antenna mount to the headboard and also probably WeBoost or something of the sort on the other side.

I told him he needed to use it to put an over the cab platform. lol

He knows how to do it now via my method. He wanted to run a roof rack attachment. Pffft but for why my broskie.

If I ever go back to a bed then I’d be out of a cab rack then. That’s why I wanna build my on rack over the cab. Haha. But I’ll throw something together and see what it looks like.

This thread got my sketchup itch going again, last photo and I'll stop hijacking your stuff lol

I am working on the base model to make it less raptor like, I scaled down the front bumper and a few things, going to add regular extended flares. Resized the tires to pizza cutters and slapped some RTR photos in for wheels since no model exists. ha!

I wish I could find a way to easily and quick add my vinyl graphics but I cant figure out anything.

Any reason why? All of my designs are weldless with grade 8 bolts at critical connection points. It would actually be a semi-quick disconnect design.
Because if I want to go back to the bed then I’ll still have a cab rack. Then I’m also thinking in a business mindset about others will already have cab racks and if they don’t they know my design will work
