They ditched the glovebox light back in 2020

'cause that saved them $0.50 on each build, yet that along with deleting other "dollar items" (PRNDS light, paint to match tailgate handle, etc., etc.,) makes their 2022 - 2023 trucks look as advanced as my 2003 Taco was.

Does the fx2 have a cheap skid plate underneath past the bumper?? Mine does not have one. I was under the impression it had one? Anyone know or do we add that to the list as well??

mine is anFX2 and there is a ‘light-duty’ skid plate on the front. More for looks than actual function.

Didn't see this on the list, but the key lock on the tailgate handle is gone.

So, I guess I can no longer lock the rear tailgate? I ordered the XL 100A, so no power locks. That would be rather disappointing...

Also, no diff drain plug. Guess I gotta open it up and reglue it to change the oil? That's annoying...

I'm also hearing rumors of time constraints when choosing velocity blue.

Say it ain't so!! Damn, gotta call the dealer about that now.
Edit: phew - Tim from Long McArthur said this was not the case on his live stream. He did mention that in order to confirm COVP, you need to contact your dealer; the email is not confirmation of COVP. So I will have to do that tomorrow.

Dont know about color, but it took 8 months to get my new ranger. A few minor differences between my 22 and 20. But not enough to make me hate the ranger. Just a few minor things like the hood struts tailgate lock and thats about it. Same awesome truck! But with a e locker now

OK, I gotcha. I misread the build guide and saw "Tailgate - Manual Locking" and assumed that meant key only.

Edit: Now I'm confused, I don't get a remote keyfob lock with the 100A, but I have power locks? So I have to unlock my door with the key, then press the button to unlock the tailgate? LOL
