I love my Eibach kit, when my rig didn't have a bumper/winch on the front. I am going to be pulling mine off tomorrow, to swap with something that has a higher spring rate. If you're interested, hit me up and we can talk. Mine is a completely assembled version and only has about 10k on it.hey man ive been meaning to ask how do you like the eibach coilovers you have? im looking at lifts and as much as id love to buy a full set of either king or fox 2.5s i really dont need that anymore haha i just need a simple good riding 2.5-3.0 lift
gotcha i plan to put a winch in eventually but my plan is to put a higher spring rate in what ever coilover i get.I love my Eibach kit, when my rig didn't have a bumper/winch on the front. I really like them and wish I'd done it sooner. I started out by doing a 2.5" level kit but when I decided to keep my Ranger (I usually get a new truck every 3 years) I changed out the fronts and rears. Much better ride over the stock Fx4 and takes away the rear bounce and very smooth over washboards now.hey man ive been meaning to ask how do you like the eibach coilovers you have? im looking at lifts and as much as id love to buy a full set of either king or fox 2.5s i really dont need that anymore haha i just need a simple good riding 2.5-3.0 lift
gotcha gotcha man and dang only 3 years! so far all my trucks have hit the 6 year mark then i swap out but hopeful this one will last longer since i dont plan to abuse the crap out of it hahaI really like them and wish I'd done it sooner. Ease and timing. I was able to get the new springs put together prior to pulling the old. I can give you the Eibach part number for the next step up in springs.gotcha i plan to put a winch in eventually but my plan is to put a higher spring rate in what ever coilover i get.
what makes you want to swap instead of installing a new spring?
I write them off for business so after the 3rd year it's down to only 7%. But with all the shortages, items deleted and the next gen on the horizon I figured I'll keep this one at least another 2-3 years. I added the Eibach right before our trip in June and did 5,000 miles of all kinds of driving on them. They performed flawlessly on/off road and I never once regretted the purchase. I'm sure you'll love them too. thanks for the info ive heard good things about em just wanted to double check the one thing id have to do in the future is swap springs to a stronger one from eibach since i plan to run the 589 winch plate in the truck eventually
ahh true i didnt see the bumper portion of that! that for sure would be more weight then what im gonna do i think? i know my warn winch is like 72 ish? i cant remember what the 589 is idk how much but ive also seen they are out of stock hopefully they get more in...Ease and timing. I also have a problem leaving things alone... I don't have the time to leave the truck apart while having the springs swapped. This will be a simple out with the old, in with the new. I wrestled with the decision, but we just got a return on tax overpayment, so it was easier to buy new. Also, I have a problem leaving things alone... ha! I wanted to try a different setup. Eibach has been killer and, I think, with just a winch, you'd be okay with this setup. My bumper and winch are a lot of weight. Something liek the 589 winch plate and winch wouldn't be nearly as much weight.
