Man I just got everything I could do / afford to my Ranger done (see sig). I wouldn't mind downsizing and the better mileage of the hybrid.
Maybe at 5 yrs when its paid off. Interest rate is too good to pay off early!

IMO it comes down to Towing and off-roading? Do you do either? If not the Maverick is the better move but snice both cars are paid for do what your heart tells you. YOLO

Depending on one's want/needs I can understand going for a Maverick.
If it would not be for wanting to pull a TT, I would have gotten one. It would have
fufilled my needs most of the time, the Ranger is way too much truck.
Now, were's that PHEV Ranger?

If I didn't buy a ranger, I may have leaned towards getting the Maverick but no way I would downgrade to a Maverick after having a ranger.
I would buy a Maverick for my eldest Granddaughter who just received her learner's permit. She loves the jacked up Jeep Renegades.....

Ok not my idea, ordered a Maverick hybrid lariat loaded, it was supposed to be my wife’s truck. She’s fallen out of love with it since we ordered last September. It’s now built and in shipping.

She asked if I want to trade my 2021 Ranger Lariat FX4, Rapid Red with black appearance package.. My first thought is hell no.

We’re aged people and off-road really hurt’s her back from multiple spinal fusion surgery’s . I know I don’t want to do It but just tossing it out there. I’m just trying wrap my head around the idea… she’s wanting to keep her Hyundai 2017 Santa Fe sport AWD instead… IDK..
If it were my house, I would keep the Ranger and my wife would keep the Santa Fe. Sell the Maverick, not the Ranger! Just my two cents, you have to do what you have to do...

If I could have gone to the dealer and driven off on a loaded Lariat with moonroof I(without the markup bs) would have considered it...

I think I'd go with the Maverick as long as it's not the 2wd version. It fits 4x8 sheets so I'm good. Needs a lift and tires though for proper visual proportioning/balance.
