Haven't checked mine, but it's a 2021 Lariat 2 WD, with all the bells n whistles, AND, an engine cover, 6 tie downs, rubber fender/hood bumpers, hood damps.
AND it is the coveted no longer available Scab......
Always garaged, and driven by little old man !!!
Up for sale, private parties only.....$75,000.00 cash, non-negotiable !!! No lowballers, I know what I got.
Fixed it for ya...

In view of what you are asking for your '21 S/Cab, I don't think I'll be out of line to ask the same for my '20 S/Cab Lariat because of the fact that it's been driven all of 455 miles.

I special ordered it in mid August 2019 and took delivery on January 17, 2020, essentially it's been driven 113 miles/year, I do believe it is the lowest mileage '20 Ranger on the planet.

Time stamped odometer image to validate my claim available upon request.

Additionally, it's equipped with the much coveted tailgate dampening system...lol

Sales is a number game. Do each negotiation separately. If they ask if you have a trade tell them no....and work on the sale price and any downpayment of the new vehicle. Once that is done then say....actually I think I will trade my vehicle in.

Sound advice, however I'm almost certain the OTD price you were quoted will definitely change once you spring the trade in factor with them.

Here on Oahu (Honolulu) we've just 3 Ford dealers, when I was shopping for a 2019 one of them jacked up the price obscenely because of the truck being new on the market, the other 2 did the same, albeit not as ridiculous as the first.

This is the main reason why I went the Ford X Plan route when I special ordered my 2020 Lariat S/Cab, I abhor dicking around with new car salesman ( I worked as a mechanic @ a Lincoln-Mercury agency for 14 years), the X plan price was fixed.

I also made it crystal clear to the sales manager and salesperson who I dealt with that the truck was to be delivered as is, i.e no absurdly overpriced dealer installed accessories/equipment ,etc.

Sheesh... after reading that list I came up with an offer of $60,000 but I suppose even entertaining that idea is useless. :(

Good luck with the sale!

Don't plan on selling it, very happy with it, and not in the market for anything else. Does everything I need/want/expected it to do.
But if there were someone out there willing to fork over $75,000.00 for it, I might have to re-consider !!!!!:crackup::crackup:

Of course your ribbing (Iknew that)...fun to offer it out for $75,000 grand tho.
Maybe 10,000 people who laugh at it, but it only takes one to come up with the $$$ !!!

FORD RANGER AMONG BEST FIVE YEAR OLD TRUCKS FOR THE MONEY
By Brett FooteFebruary 1, 2024 11:01 am
The all-new, next-generation Ford Ranger will soon begin populating roads in the U.S., but as it stands, that pickup’s predecessor is still racking up plenty of accolades as a solid used vehicle buy. In fact, the outgoing Ford Ranger ranked second in the mid-size pickup segment of J.D. Power’s 2022 Initial Quality Study (IQS), as well as one of the most reliable trucks in Consumer Reports‘ annual auto reliability survey from both 2022 and 2023. Now, iSeeCars is bestowing even more praise on the last-gen Ford Ranger, which it ranks among the best five-year-old used trucks for the money.Among the 12 best five-year-old used trucks for the money, the Ford Ranger ranked eighth with an average sales price of $30,669 and an average remaining lifespan of 127,836 miles – or $2,399 per 10k miles. On average, iSeeCars notes that five-year-old Ford Ranger models have around 66.9 percent of that lifespan remaining, too, compared to the overall truck average of 64 percent. To come up with this list, iSeeCars analyzed the prices of more than 1.1 million five- and 10-year-old used vehicles sold between September and December 2023, then compared them to the remaining lifespan of those cars, based on a proprietary model that estimated the probability each vehicle would survive to various mileage thresholds. This data was calculated using odometer readings from over 312 million vehicles.“With the spike in used vehicle pricing over the past five years, buyers are seeking the best value for their used-car dollars,” said iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer. “We’ve identified the models with the lowest purchase price and the longest remaining lifespan, providing shoppers with a list of used cars they can purchase and rely on for many years. Midsize trucks don’t have the capability of full-size models when it comes to towing and hauling, but they clearly have an advantage when it comes to cost and lifespan. If you don’t need a full-size truck, a used midsize model offers far better value.”We’ll have more on the Ranger soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Ranger news and non-stop Ford news coverage.https://fordauthority.com/2024/01/ford-edge-among-best-five-year-old-used-cars-for-the-money/

My 2022 Tremor that I traded in (with 477 miles on it) is still sitting on the dealers lot here in western South Dakota. I am surprised that it is still there since Dec. 14th 23.
My former 2021 Tremor with 23k miles is still sitting on the dealer lot since Dec. 7. Currently listed on Autotrader for $30,900, which is less than they gave me for it. It didn't have a scratch or dent on it. Here in the Southeastern states, there are lots of one owner 5G's with low miles listed below kbb very good trade-in value range if anyone is looking. When scanning Autotrader, I'm seeing many of the same trucks listed I saw when I looked several weeks ago.

Just out of curiosity, I posted my 2020 Lariat 4x2 S/Cab for sale on FB marketplace for $40K (I paid almost $37K for it new).

I received so many responses (most of them scammers) that I removed the post.

Why $40K you ask?

The vehicle has just 455 miles on it, date stamped image of the odometer reading available upon request

Speaking of resale, Vroom is now defunct.

They were usually a bit higher than Carvana in their recent offers.

Guess it caught up to them.
