Surprised they didn’t include Hal30 into that patent
? Don't give them any more ideas. Although even ours can be tracked easy enough today with the modem we have. You're also being tracked through the FordPass app.

Nice, but for me it has to towable, so not holding my breath!
I was talking with someone recently who said he read where they're working on a drive though fast charging lane (s). You'll be able to pull onto one of these lanes from the highway and maintain a slower speed but still be able to rapid charge your EV. This will really be a game changer if true and solve a lot of problems for those who tow or are traveling long distances.

Retired, work is a four letter word.

I read about those, but my point is to date not one EV is flat towable that I have found, would require you to trailer it, then you have to find a place to put that huge trailer. The ideal would be a tow mode that used the regen to charge the batteries while towing, but I don't see that, not enough market. A PHEV would be best, but weight is an issue.

I misunderstood, I didn't realize you couldn't flat tow an EV. I thought you meant towable as in charging while towing.

This is awesome and I'm all for it. Gimme an EV ranger. It'll do me just as good!

So many choices… I still think phev is the best option. All electric takes most towing out of the question so why buy an ev truck?
none the less I’m still living high off the member who has a ranger and a bronco! ?

If they could do the PHEV with a 40-50 mile range on electric that would be ideal for me!

A PHEV Ranger would be awesome.
This would be best for sure.
I'm hoping for one. I'm not into having an entirely electric vehicle but I could get down with a partial, especially since the towing with an electric vehicle is near impossible for the range I need/want.
