You have the dealer paperwork as well right?
I don’t have a copy of the damages but I’m not super worried, my husband is a mechanic there lol I’m just worried after it goes to body shop to get fixed, that down the line it’ll cause issues in those spots again(basically worried for no reason other then it can happen again lol).

That’s awful, but I guess they think because people want their vehicles, anything will do lol.
Now all I can think of is what else am I not seeing…

I’m disappointed in the quality of things as well to be honest and if the vehicle arrived without these issues I probably would be somewhat okay with how they cheaped out.
I think it has more to do with general incompetence and rushing as you know demand is insane and they can't get close to matching it so corners get cut, them firing the manager of the plant was long over due but frankly it was the tip of the iceberg and he was honestly in all likelihood a sacrificial lamb not the root of the problem. Your issues do sound for the most part like stuff from transport or it sitting at map for god knows how long though fitment stuff is definitely a factory qc issue I am sure phil can weigh in as well with better insight than me but from what I have seen and experienced on the dealer side they are frankly getting sloppy to an inexcusable and unjustifiable degree

You should be ok then lol but yeah it does sound like mostly easy fixes thankfully so we've got that going for you just a matter of time and getting it in

I didn't notice it till a few days after I brought it home and got around to detailing it for the first time.

In my defense and the dealerships defense, checking the inside door jams of the rear wouldn't have crossed my mind either. That is more of a Ford factory QC job.
Did you not let them detail it when the truck arrived? because if the detail guys didn't see that they are shit at their jobs too, whenever we take in a vehicle it has to go through a fairly thorough inspection once we take custody off the truck and that is done before anyone else can touch it sales people service lot porters managers anyone once it has gone through their intake then we check in the keys to our systems and upload the pictures taken during that process to the website then it goes to the lot

yup hope so anyways lol.

I do have some positives about the vehicle so I’m not just being a negative Nancy over here haha but the ride quality I find is absolutely amazing. Very comfortable compared to my edge I had (I upgraded to 20” wheels so that probably didn’t help).

we rely on the QC guys to do their jobs.
unfortunately the way things have been going the last couple years, those guys may have moved up the ranks and have little experience doing the job they got saddled with.
They may very well have been the best available for the promotion, with cutbacks etc.
Sad really as alot of what you see on your truck is preventable.

I have a railyard near where i live and walk through it frequently.
theres been F150 Tremors parked for flat tires. Some with bumper fascia ripped off.
Some BMW's or something equally expensive with severe front end damage.
That kind of stuff happens too.

What I have noticed is that its almost a 2 week vacation in the rail yard before a truck picks them up, or they are loaded on another train for another journey.
Those waiting for their vehicles would have tears in their eyes knowing they sit for so long in an abrasive paint hating environment.
The railyards and transport guys are an absolute nightmare we had several vehicles sitting there for 9 months because those idiots lost the keys and just had them sitting there instead of notifying us and finding them then they wanted US to pay to get it towed to the store and have duplicate keys made, I was up with the big boss when he was on the phone with them because I needed one of the vehicles that was sitting and he ripped them a new one. Still took 3 months after that for the cars to get here....

Yeah the fox shocks and extra sidewall make a world of difference, I am glad you got your truck though! And I am glad the fixes are easy too its a bad situation but it could have been much worse

Most of todays dealers would say that’s factory character! You got the bonus edition ?

But without the sarcasm it does make you wonder how moving forward if their model is to ditch dealers and go direct sales how they will handle this type of problem(s)? Drive it to your one and only state factory repair facility to have work done while you wait a month or more to get it back. Seriously, the quality in the past few years is taking a nose dive and Ford is acting like, we got a problem? No, just some small “issues” to resolve

i was shocked with the camera quality. It’s god awful. My 2016 Edge was crystal clear and this looks like it’s from 2004.

Actually the entire screen bothers me, it looks cheap and the fact that dark mode is blue and not black annoys me too lol I wish they didn’t cheap out here out of everything. The missing hood struts and engine covers etc I could live without really

A few years back I bought a new car that was half repainted. They did not tell me.
Months later when I found out, I approached the dealer & said it was illegal & they
owe me a new unmolested car. It took 1 month of back & forth to finally exchange
my 10k km vehicle wit a new 5km vehicle. They ate the lost.
Go to a shop to see the paint thickness, maybe it was in an accident.
Not sure about your laws but here it's pretty strick.

Honestly I think this relates to something far bigger. Most of us here are from generations that took pride in our work, quality of the job and an attitude of give it your best.

Today’s generation you’re lucky to get them to show up let alone put in a full day. Quality!? What? Parts on don’t like it fix it yourself is the attitude. I swear some of the guys they probably hire work there 2 weeks and think they deserve a free F150 Raptor because they’re so great.

This isn’t just a Ford problem, it’s an issue across all manufacturing nationwide

I have a bubble in the paint on the roof that looks like yours on the tailgate. I didn’t find it until way later though.
