Tonight was FORScan night.

- Bambi mode
- respective fog lights on when turning (the only one my wife didnā€™t roll her eyes at)
- ambient entry lighting orange instead of ice blue
- turned off driver and passenger seatbelt annoyer
- turned off the panic button (I hope)
- daytime running lights include park lamps on
- climate menu
- Ford Performance splash screen
- DTE calculation in productivity screen
- Traffic sign recognition (and display, see tire pressure display picture)
- TPMS placard (why not?)
- fuel consumed per hour display
- last and maybe least, active noise control. I want it but everything appeared to be disabled, along with the fake engine noise which I was going to disable anyway.

Things appear to have changed from the wiki, like the seatbelt chime settings and lots of new settings like the ambient entry light color.

Last, I didnā€™t disable the big one, AS/S, only because I was hesitant to disable battery monitoring and any unforeseen consequences.

For fun:

sharp truck. My grandpa lived at Ozark when I was a kid. Loved going down there and driving around Fort Rucker. Thanks for your service and stay safe.

It's hard to make a turbo 4 popper sound good ?
Eh.. It's all subjective.

V8 fanboys like to say 4cyls sound like crap.

Wankel die-hards may think that nothing sounds as good as a rotary.

Supercar people spit on anything that doesn't sound like a flat plane v10.

Electric car fanatics probably believe any ICE motor sounds like a couple of cavemen slapping cocks together.

Run it.

100 internet points for knowing Wankel. I prefer 'spinning triangles of death' but not many people know Wankel.
I usually go with wankel cause idk how many people would pick up on dorito motor lol.

There was a time many thought that was the next big step forward. 3 moving parts, as I remember, and many of us wanted one of the RX's because they were so unique and "cool".

Its one of the most inefficient engines produced.

1.8L that gets low teens for fuel mileage. There are 9 apex seals per rotor, as opposed to 3 per piston (I need to check that number, I am going from memory). It was great, as it was the first design to depart from piston/crank setup, but it just didn't work well enough to become main steam.

Fun fact: RX7 is code for Rotary Experiment #7.

I sound like a hater, but I love the Wankel, its just not practical. The HKS RX7 launched (LAUNCHED) at 15,000 RPM on the drag strip. Super cool.

Thank you. I like the area down here as well considering I'm not to far from here. My service is almost complete. 3 months out from retirement.

Each rotor is roughly equal to 3 cyclinders. So nine seals is close to the 3 rings per piston. The faster you go the better the gas mileage too. It is a gas hog a low speeds. Smoothest engine that I have ever drove, and spinup to high RPMs / redline was very impressive.
