Hehe…that is excellent ? A few years ago I relocated my family from SoCal to Iowa and have never looked back. For us, it really is Heaven.
My wife and I have talked about leaving CA. With housing market and interest rates where they are we plan to hold off for now.

No pictures, but did a haul yesterday from Santa Fe back down to Albuquerque to get some of my gf's furniture out of storage. Had a 5x8 trailer from uhaul (no brake controller so they wouldn't give me a 6x12), but truck had no issues maintaining 75 mph on the drive back home. The ride was excellent too with the extra weight on the back and the Fox 2.0s.

Was my first experience solo towing anything, quite pleased with how well it did. Even had no issues backing it up to my garage (I'm just a little pleased with myself).

Hi Folks,

Today my Ranger and I traveled to an emergency at my good friend and neighbor's house to help with a plugged kitchen sink plumbing. Neighbor just had a Kidney and Ureater (tube between kidney and bladder) removed due to cancer diagnosis. Wife was distraught to have to deal with a plumbing problem. So it became a long involved process to dismantle the sink drain and clean out the crap that had accumulated in the dowstream of the trap.. Ranger and I had to chase back to the house for additional tools and back down to their house. Guy is one hurtin' puppy from post op pain... Told him to not worry...Now have a garbage disposal replacement as it had given up the ghost to cause the problem...

Anyway....Ranger gets a rest tomorrow as Wifelet and I are headed for Tubac Golf Resort restaurant for an upscale meal. I will even wear one of my Bolo string ties I make out of turquoise and mesquite...

Wow, wow, wow!

Phil,
Your Bolos reminded me of some rings I've haven't worn in a long time. Two are turquoise and one is a yellow mother of pearl made by an Indian friend of mine.

Hi Folks,

Today Margie and I took the Ranger back to our friend's house to install a new garbage disposal. My buddy was having a good day and took on the task of moving the electrical cord over to the new disposal while I was installing the new sink connection using plumber's putty...all in all about hour and half taking it slow. His wife was super happy to have her sink and dishwasher back... Test run...no leaks...Good To Go! Margie and Sandy visited while we worked. I got a 12 pack of Pacifico out of the deal..not necessary but appreciated!

Best,
Phil

We left in 2019, the best and most scary decision we’ve ever made. Three years later and now we ask ourselves why it took so long.

Nice, Phil, I'm able to find Pacifico sometimes in PA, and saw someone say online that testing said it was gluten-free, (<20 ppm gluten) though not claimed so. My stomach hasn't argued so far, but I think more testing is in order! Heard the same regarding Corona, but again, the "cervesa mas fina" people won't certify it...:beer:

As a former Bolo wearer (when I was a high school teacher in Texas), I love your work! They look fantastic!

Seriously good looking trucks!

Hi Folks,

Today my Ranger backed out of the garage and parked outside the garage. Why? Margie's hair dresser set up in the garage to cut her hair and mine too. So after the hair cuts, I swept up the cuttings, vacuumed and pulled the Ranger back into the Garage.... Annette does a great business with little overhead by visiting folks at home...especially shut-ins. We really like having to not drive to a barber or Salon....Many folks are on her waiting list as it is so convenient!

Best,
Phil
