I wouldnt mind replacing my mirrors.

I prefer to see my tires in the convex so I can nudge curbs and such. Ford and theit headlights/mirrors...

Not exactly today but, a couple days ago. Goty Clearview towing mirrors installed. Not a bad job except for getting the trim piece off the armrest. Almost impossible without breaking the upper part that goes in the screw pocket. Anyway. Fit great and everything works. Glad I went with the mid-level and didn’t try to keep the power fold. Folded they really get that much narrower. Love them so far, still getting use to them being different and having the lower covex mirror. Can’t wait to try them towingy TT.

I really like those. I feel like they make the truck look more...truck. Very nice!

Touched up 3 tiny stone chips on front bumper ?. I don't tailgate, I avoid areas in my daily travels that have fresh tar/chipping, etc., but I guess they still happen.

Our Hyundai Santa Fe mirrors tilt down in Reverse (has switch to enable). Great parking aid. This feature should be standard on Lariat.
I HATE this feature. I am a valet and park cars for a living, and I can't tell you how stupid it is to have your mirror pointed at the ground when you are in reverse. Maybe it is handy for parking against a curb but even then, there is no danger to your vehicle if you boop the curb with your tire. There is a danger to your vehicle when backing into tight spots around pillars in a parking garage, or even just around other cars in our outdoor lot. Nothing pisses me off more than having a backlog of cars to park and being in a rush, dropping a car into reverse and the damn mirror just starts pointing at the ground! Then I've got to fiddle around amd figure out how to toggle it off or adjust their mirror back up so I can see and not risk damaging their vehicle. I have backed in thousands and thousands of vehicles in a very tight lot and never damaged one yet, which is more than can be said for most people on our crew. Sorry about the rant but that mirror feature is so triggering lol. Keep that shit turned off! Fun fact, the oldest vehicle I have seen that feature on was a 1996 land rover.

It’s been a while I have not posted anything in this forum. Well, it’s about time. I am preparing to do something to my ranger and to my wallet(that I already did). I got this offer I could not refuse, OEM tires of a Raptor, almost new, less than half price. General Grabber AT3 LT C rated, mid 2021 DOT, newer than my truck. Mathematically it’s a very small difference from the 265/70/17 I already had. Optically it’s huge, not as pretty as the Pirelli Scorpions ATs but for some reason I cannot get that in Romania. All 121/118Q Coopers/BFG/Yokohamas and the rest. Raptors used to come from factory with BFGKO2s, since 2020 is GGAT3s. They weigh 23.3kg each. I will weigh the Scorpions once they’re off. I will be using the 8” panther OEM rim.

God damn that'd be awesome.

I can't see anything below the midriff of the door, kind of annoying.

That looks perfect! I just noticed I don't have an Ecoboost badge or dealer stickering on my truck. I wouldn't be too bothered by the Ecoboost, but glad the latter isn't on there. Did ya'lls trucks come with EB badge or did you pick one up?
03/08/2021 build date and black appearance package. No EcoBoost tag. Did have a dealer sticker (which I promptly removed with a hair dryer and some automotive goo gone.) Also had a "Northwest Edition" sticker, which I left, I kind of like that one.

Took the Almighty Ranger in for the works package at the dealership. I was hoping to hear that the tires are worn out so I could get new tires. The deal with the warden is no cool guy tires until these are worn out. ? The dealer told me "you’re at 21,000,the rate you’re going you could probably get another 30,000 miles out of these Hankook‘s".?

I spent some time in the garage prepping the next modifications. Making sure all the snorkel parts are in and prepping the new mounting system for my RTT.

I miscounted when I got the t-nuts, so I will have to go get 12 more.

I agree.... I'm always tilting one or both mirrors down when backing into a space, to make sure I'm in the middle.

Changed the transfer case lube. Based on past experience with my other trucks, as expected it looked like tar at 30,000 miles. Replaced with Redline D6 ATF which meets the Ford Spec in the manual. You need a 3/8” hex key on the plugs, not a 3/8” drive, and a cheater pipe to get the plugs out. Fill and drain plugs are different as only the drain plug has a magnet so don’t mix them up.

Installed. The truck is dirty. I will post more after a wash. The steering feels a bit heavier, just a hair. I did not yet weigh the 265/70/17 for comparison sake. According to Pirelli they are 18.7kg. So, 4.6kg per wheel heavier for the new setup. Noise is the same, almost unnoticeable.
The tire specs are General Grabbers AT3, snowflake 3PMSF, 285/70/R17 116S, 2 ply.

I’ve included a picture of the last time I had the 265/70/17” on.
