So I haven't really been active these past weeks. Been wrenching away at my raptor suspension swapped f150, but today we'll today. My wife comes home super stressed from work. I was thinking it was work related (she's leo). I ask what's up, she responded your trucks doing some weird shit. So ac stopped working, keyless ignition stopped working, got a p0034 code, and a low oil pressure light on. It was ah fuck moment let me take a look. Well at her station where they park their povs they have a huge cat problem. Well a fat fucking cat decided to sleep his fat ass on the fan clutch broke the flimsy rubber hose and got the wiring chewed up from the fan belt which in turn took out several fuses. She's all fixed now, but seriously fuck that cat. O and quick tip if you want to cut open a wiring harness, but don't want to damage other wires get a seam cutter for clothes

If they have cats problem, probably plenty of rats around for cat food. I used peppermint oil and dose off some cotton balls in a small can and magnet somewhere in the engine bay or under the dash board. Rats don't like peppermint oil scent.

Hi Folks,

Today the Ranger was pressed into service to head to our Good Friends daughter and son in law's place so I could remove a cook top to get ready for new kitchen counters. Son in law is in tough shape having at 65 being diagnosed with stage 4 Lung cancer which spread to his spine and weakened it to the point it is now fractured. Daughter called most of the electricians in Tucson and they were booked through the end of May, so I got the call to pull the cook top... No idea of what was involved but it took about 20 minutes to pull the 240V wiring and remove the cook top.... I will also do the reinstall of the new cook top after the new counter tops. Son in Law likely will not make it and complicates things for Daughter. I will follow their lead on installation.. Old cook top will likely be in Mexico by next week via our friend and our gardener, Jesus M.

Best,
Phil
PRAYERS SENT, PHIL, I know this is awhile back.

Tailgate damper added

Hey, what's that little foam looking bumper on the tailgate cable?

I've never noticed that before and did see that some cables seem to get pinched by the damper.
