Don't want to bust your bubble but mine is in shipped also and they gave me a date of April 28th. Now they have moved it to June 6th. It is going by rail to SLC through Denver. I guess it must be in a rail car sitting in Michigan.

I'm really not expecting that 5-2 date to hold. Annoyingly I get no info from Ford, it all goes to my dealer and my rep is horrible at getting me information. Though the few dates he has given me have been pretty accurate to when things have happened.

For both our sakes let's just hope it's Ford Corp not knowing how final miles will work for you and your dealer picks it up themselves!

I got this information from one of the other forums (can't remember which one). If you have already seen it just ignore this.

I was able to track my ranger during shipment using the following:

If shipping by rail it seems to ship from plant by CSX. If you have the train car number from dealer TTGX........ you can call 1-800-235-2352 and using the voice automated system ask for "location" and it give you an idea of where it is, what was last station departed/arrived etc.

Mine then got switched to Union Pacific in Chicago and by calling 1-800-877-5123 and using their automated system ask for "trace". This one I couldn't get a good location from but was able to get the ETA at "industry" which is last rail yard.

You can track the same rail car number using both CSX and UP (once it is transferred to UP). Between the two it gives you a pretty accurate progress on shipping.

Just trying to be helpful, I found it pretty interesting keeping track of where my truck was once it shipped.

just got word for the Australian market there will be major delays on the new Ranger, not sure if the US markets will be affected as well.

Order Track tells me there are 24 similar vehicles in a similar shipping status and that as mine is expected from the end of the second week of May and into the third week, I’m wondering how accurate that will be.

I just got a call from the dealer, and my truck is at the dealership earlier than projected by Ford. It had been in Atlanta since this past Sunday. So at noon I’m heading to the dealership to look it over and finalize, if everything is good.

As an aside, I posed this question on another section of the forum. Has anyone else received an add on incentive offer from Ford in the mail? I got one for an additional $1250 on top of the publicly available ones.

Ordered March 31, received build date and VIN today April 28. Scheduled to be built June 20. Let’s the real waiting begin

Ordered first weekend of April, order confirmed the following week. Sitting at work this morning (4/28) and Ford BEAT my expectations by about 2 weeks and surprised me with my VIN!

Currently Scheduled Week of June 20th. We will see if they hold to that. If they do, I anticipate early-mid July delivery for CO.

Well, I think I have some good news to report. Now 46 days after being built, my new Ranger was moved to Shipped status today. Therefore, I am in hopes that it gets delivered to my dealer in Nashville, TN sometime very soon. My question to y'all is this... After being shipped or in transit, how long did it take your new Ranger to actually get delivered to your dealer?

Ugh, I'm so OCD with the tracker. A few minutes ago it still showed a window sticker from April 21st. Just now, the window sticker date (at the bottom) says April 28th! (dang, I should have saved those PDFs!!!)

So apart from going full spaz-mode, I didn't immediately see any differences, is there some secret code I should be looking for?

Does this mean my truck fell off the rail car loading ramp?
Does this mean I'm fated to get a tailgate damper?

What does it all mean!?! =p

Edit: I did find two older PDFs on my phone and compared all three different dates. I couldn't see any difference except that the middle one did not have the "Built Ford Tough" watermark on it. Bah, I need to chill, maybe when I get older, I'll mature more! =p
