Tinted the quarter windows in the SC rear doors. My tinting skills are rusty, haven't done it in ages, but they came out okay. I like it so I'll probably do the rear window and doors. Didn't go real dark since PA cops are picky about tint.

Cleaned up the wiring for the battery maintainer by cutting out about 4 ft of extra wiring that was coiled up on top of battery.

I tell you what I would like to do, remove the Ranger emblem on sides, and have one made that says F100! Any ideas where I could get this done? I believe the original Ranger was an F100..

Managed to get my lift and tires installed, and I have to say, what a difference it makes!

Stock Ride Height before installation.

For starters, the lift is the Rough Country 3" Lift kit w/ rear shock absorbers, Installation was fairly straightforward, up until the front diff drop, which Rough Country does give you instructions for, just not that great and you have to really wiggle around down there with a proper grinding tool to cut the original bracket out for the rear. Other than that everything went smooth, though if you are installing a lift (or a leveling kit for that matter) make sure to take your CV Axles out or you're going to have a hell of a time popping it back in. We did remove the front and rear crash bars, but after close inspection, it looks as if we could have left the front crash bars in as there is quite a bit of clearance in the front.

The rear was pretty straightforward, they give you composite plastic lift blocks and new u-bolts, and provide all the installation media, nuts, bolts, etc. the rear shocks are built really well, no complaints there and they do make a huge difference in rear ride quality over stock.

Though this is just a front spacer lift, I have to say the parts they give you have really great build quality, and I don't see anything wrong with the spacers or the installation media whatsoever.

The UCA's are built great and have a fairly thick powder coating on them and definitely have more heft than stock.

The truck wasn't much out of alignment after the install, but paying that extra $150 is just cheap insurance for your tires and bearings down the road.

As for wheels and tires, I went with a set of 18" Armed Offroad Infantry wheels w/ a +12 offset (these are a local brand that can only be purchased (as far as I know) from Canada Custom Autoworks, super nice rims, great build, no issues with the quality of the wheels at all and I love the look, and didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for a brand name *cough* FUEL *cough*

For rubber, I went with a set of 33x12.5 R18 Venom Power Terra Hunter R/T+ Tires. so far I am loving them, the road noise is to be expected but it's not abnormally loud for an R/T tire, not as quiet as the Ridge Grapplers but for the price, I'm not complaining. (plus they're 3 peak rated) I've heard a lot of horror stories about these tires being out-of-round, abnormal wear, and not balancing properly. I've had no issues with balancing, and they have been holding up great so far. These are a huge improvement over those stock Hankook tires they threw on from the factory, and being a 12 ply, it really helps the ride quality and stops the truck from feeling floaty.

I have noticed a significant KPL / MPG hit with this setup, but I don't mind considering it feels like a capable truck now, so far I've only lost 150 Km range (estimate from the fuel Estimate KM to Empty), and the Kilo per liter has gone from 12.5 highway to about 14.

Overall, I am super stoked with this setup and haven't had any issues thus far. Loving the look and knowing that I can get into sticky situations and feel confident the truck can get me out of it with her new shoes and ground clearance.

Ride height after installation, total height difference went from about 35" in the front and 37" in the rear to 40" and 40"

I highly recommend heading over to Canada Custom Autoworks if all the Canadian folk are looking for a great place to go for lifts, tires, bumpers etc. They are phenomenal and gave us a great deal. Overall paid about $3500 CAD for the entire setup (installed ourselves).

The disease of truck parts has now started haha.

looks great! I like the side steps also. It appears you took off the front wheel valances. Did you take them off for looks or did you experience rubbing?

Took them off for looks. Also had to remove the front intrusion bars I was rubbing those in reverse

I was messing around in the DIY section last week and saw a post by "quangdog" dated back in 2020 where he did a nice DIY video. He and some of you made it look sooo easy that I just had to get a pair of these cheap LED puddle lamps from Amazon for myself. They arrived today so I snapped them on . Took all of 10 minutes.
Peer pressure is strong around here. You guys need to stop it! LOL

Yeah, but they make a world of difference. Right!? I love that I made that upgrade.
