What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yes I did have to trim the plastic inserts it wasn’t that bad they give you templates the hardest part was taking bumper off and on by myself
They are very bright but light the side of road good

I did a couple things to my Ranger today to improve its look and function. Thought I would share

This morning I had all the windows tinted. I had them add 5% tint to all the back windows to black it out and put 75% tint (ceramic to block UV) in the two front windows. I think it looks perfect. Oh, I also de badged the vinyl 4x4 sticker from the bed. Those things look so cheep to me.

Then after I got my truck back home, I installed my Bakflip MK4 bed cover.

I tell you what I would like to do, remove the Ranger emblem on sides, and have one made that says F100! Any ideas where I could get this done? I believe the original Ranger was an F100..

"Ranger" was a trim level for the F100 series pickups.

"Explorer" was also a trim level for the F100.

Both "Ranger" and "Explorer" became its own vehicle from a trim level name.

I was messing around in the DIY section last week and saw a post by "quangdog" dated back in 2020 where he did a nice DIY video. He and some of you made it look sooo easy that I just had to get a pair of these cheap LED puddle lamps from Amazon for myself. They arrived today so I snapped them on . Took all of 10 minutes.
Peer pressure is strong around here. You guys need to stop it! LOL

Fixed some paint chips with a touch up paint pen. After it all dried I then installed an AVS Aeroskin hood protector that I got on sale at Amazon. Hopefully it does a decent job of protecting the hood from chips.

today i finally installed new rear shocks. while under the truck i noticed how filthy she was so when the shocks were done i got out the power washer and soap foam blaster. poor truck still looks filthy. never ever again getting a black off road vehicle. every slight breeze scratches it and the first bit of dust or pollen makes it look like you have never washed it.
