Added the engine bay lighting with a pressure sensor. Still have no clue why the factory doesn't do this anymore. Hell even my 1964 1/2 Mustang had an engine bay light........

Last night I added the CVF downpipe. All in all, a normal install. Someone mentioned WD-40 or lubricating the flange going into the flex pipe which helped a ton to slide that b*@&! off.

With my Roush Exhaust, there is a noticeable change in exhaust sound (louder and more "throaty", especially at WOT)

I will say, turbo spool is quicker and the pedal seems more responsive. Granted I'm tuned (livernois currently), charge pipes and roush CAI.

I did a couple things to my Ranger today to improve its look and function. Thought I would share

This morning I had all the windows tinted. I had them add 5% tint to all the back windows to black it out and put 75% tint (ceramic to block UV) in the two front windows. I think it looks perfect. Oh, I also de badged the vinyl 4x4 sticker from the bed. Those things look so cheep to me.

Then after I got my truck back home, I installed my Bakflip MK4 bed cover.

It ain't no BuiltRight, but it was free-fiddy with some scraps left over from my rack revision at the end of last year. I still need to touch up a few things, but its mostly done. I was going to make a bigger version that I was going to bend to the curves of the top dash, but thats a project for another day.

Also got around to ordering a small mount for my FE. If someone is depraved enough to steal it, it wasn't that much. =/

Also testing an old can of OD Green spray paint I forgot I had so the new brain box in the back seat delete will match the molle walls of ODG goodness.

just go carefully, one wrong move and you can really pinch a berry... i learned that the hard way. it was a hot muggy summer day and decided to go free style. went to jump in the back of the truck with one foot on the step bumper. when i moved to put the other foot on the bumper it ruined my afternoon. promptly flopped on the ground and rolled around. since that lesson i never make any sudden sporty moves without the stem and cherries securely supported lol.
