Has anyone here tried the Flowmaster Delta Boost on their G5 Ranger? It essentially just re-writes the output from the boost sensor to one of 4 settings to trick the computer into thinking it has more or less boost. It's kind of a hack, but it's bolt-on and easily removable. I would just watch for a lean condition if running the +2 or +4 psi mode. I'm more interested in the valet mode, which deducts 4 psi. I'm thinking it might be beneficial for gas mileage and commuting when I don't want or need ridiculous power.
I have this one https://www.holley.com/products/tun...ng_modules/flowmaster_delta_boost/parts/18102 that I had picked up for my 2016 Escape a couple of years ago, but never installed. I'm curious if it will work with the Ranger that I'll be getting any day now. It fits the Focus 2.0L and 2.3L engines, so I'm thinking it might, but am looking for someone to confirm. It seems like it just needs to match the sensor connectors since it goes in-line with the boost sensor coming off of the intercooler. Anyone?
