Completely adjustable, remote reservoir, internal bypass, large diameter shock. That’s what your money gets you. I have them and they are the best shocks I’ve owned thus far. I can maintain 50mph on a rough corrugated rutted road without ever feeling unstable. Rides good too
This is my current solution.
It works and doesn’t move around. However, it makes a lot of howling noise above 40mph. I can also only fit one up there. Anybody got some better ideas? My bed is only 5ft, and the kayak won’t fit between the tailgate and rack.
They’ve been doing it for a long time. My tech school was only a year (associates in applied technology) and cost me 35k, so not cheap training. Also factor in the amount the tech needs to pay on tools. I’ve been in the industry maybe 5 years and already have well over 20k invested in tools...
I may have this same noise. Sounds like pinging to me. I took it to dealer and made them check EVERYTHING. Couldn’t find anything except my turbo waste gate rod was rattling. They replaced that but no change to the noise.
Now that I see others hear possibly the same noise, maybe it’s just a...
It’s called devils stair case. I’m not sure the exact angle but I’d say a little more than 45 degrees. You pretty much slide down it. Brakes can’t stop you.
Yes first time that steep. It did it a second time on another steep section later in the trail. So it’s probably replicatable. Just not sure the next time I’ll be at that angle lol
This is a new one for me. 4low, steep descent. Sounds like the tires chirping but you can see it made the noise when I was stopped. Went away as I leveled out, maybe something was starved of fluid for a second?
